  Summary

But imagine, truly imagine if you are willing. If every face was a exact replica of your own. If your reward was subjugation. Constant drudgery. Homogeneity. The stifling of your inner spark day by day.

  And this caused great anguish in Mei Dian’s soul, a soul seeking her freedom from this jadeite cage. Her dream: to be able to embrace who she is as herself.

  And this fire only burned brighter when she witnessed the defiance of a certain Monkey King against the divine beings of the Jade Palace.
