Change one thing, change everything. When Lexa kisses Clarke in the tent during Bodyguard of Lies, Clarke decides to go for it, ready or not. Then Mount Weather offers Clarke a deal instead, and everything gets really complicated--especially when Clarke finds herself being held prisoner in Polis. Meanwhile, the Flame starts causing some serious problems for Lexa, and everyone else struggles to do more than just survive.
A complete series rewrite with lots of world-building and fix-it's, because they all really do deserve better than canon.
Book IV takes place during canonical season five. Soundtrack available here.

Clarke is a Gryffindor and Lexa is a Slytherin, neither girl really likes the other but they are reluctantly thrown together in their fifth year at Hogwarts.

I should also mention that this story was partially inspired by the movie The Skin I Live In by Pedro Almodovar. If you have seen any of his movies you should know that this means the story may have sweet elements but ultimately it is rather dark.

Summary
Clarke Griffin is a reporter. In her career, she has excelled at making a powerful enemy. Now, kidnapped by him, forced to play a deadly game to survive, Clarke will have to rely on all of her skills to survive with the help of some friends she finds along the way.
This is an alternate universe story involving characters from The 100 and original characters created by me. Clarke Griffin is kidnapped by extremists and taken to a compound in Afghanistan. There, she learns more about the war she has become an unwilling participant in. It will take everything that she has to survive, escape, and get home.
Content warnings for individual chapters will be in Author's Notes at the start of each chapter. This story contains graphic depictions of violence, torture, and war. Eventually, it will contain graphic depictions of sex. This is not a story for the faint of heart, but is probably one of the works that I am most proud of. I hope that, even given the difficult content, you enjoy it.
