Summary

Mingi is an orphan who'd been taken in by his aunt, the Sea witch. As a final test for him to prove himself to her, he gets sent after Yunho, tasked with ensuring that the prince fails his part of the deal.

I usually do not read stories over 30k or with darker themes but this literally was so good I could not stop reading and was so invested the entire time

Things are going remarkably well until Yunho is paired with High Prosecutor Kim Hongjoong, a man who brought down corrupt politicians and made a career out of sniffing out liars.
Yunho doesn't like Hongjoong, not at all, and to make things worse, there's a pull between the two of them that is hard to ignore.
Everything changes when Hongjoong whispers to him, "I know exactly who you used to be, Nishimura Keigo..."

Or: Wooyoung forgets to tell his family that he broke up with his boyfriend, and now he's expected to show up to his brother's wedding with a plus one. His only option is to beg Mingi, his roommate who he barely ever talks with, to be his fake-date to the wedding and spend a month with him and his family.

Wooyoung doesn’t know where he’s going, but he allows himself to be ushered through the forest by something other than himself. He inhales, deep and warm in his lungs, his entire chest expanding with it. He stops and gazes overhead, the branches still heavy with green leaves, not yet turned into a stunning fiery array before they fall and decay. They curve almost protectively over him like a canopy, and Wooyoung wonders how he took so long to wander through here. The shadows around him almost seem to tremble with impatience, or excitement, coaxing him to continue forward. He’s glad he came so early, already regretting that he’ll have to turn back home at some point.

Wooyoung has forgotten the most important parts of his life, although he can't quite figure out what's missing. Following his intuition and the forest which seems to guide him, he's pulled into a world he understands even less than his own, and things get more confusing before they start to finally make sense.

Summary
Jeong Yunho never meant to end up with a human boyfriend. Dating non-shifters is almost unheard of, and most of his packmates are wondering what the hell he’s playing at, but Mingi is so sweet and wonderful, and Yunho just can’t keep away. So, Yunho hides his fangs, keeps a tight check on his wolfish traits, and does his best to be a normal boyfriend.
Song Mingi never really pictured himself having a non-magical partner. It’s difficult having a relationship with someone who has no idea about the secret world of witchcraft, but Yunho is the loveliest person he’s ever met, and Mingi will put up with any inconvenience for him. So, Mingi hides his herbs and crystals when Yunho comes over, does his best to keep his eyes from changing colour unexpectedly, and tries his hardest to be a normal boyfriend.
…Someone should really tell them.
