Danny looked up at him with wide eyes, the blue container in his hands glinting innocently in the kitchen light. Ellie apparently had no such reservations, already halfway down the contents in hers. How did they even get those?
From across the room Dan laughed, Jason swallowed the lump in his throat.
"…Is that my blood in a sippy cup?"
His only response was Danny tilting the cup back and chugging it.

Three hours and what he thinks was three more drinks later Twilight is still bored out of his mind. Warriors came up to check on him about half an hour ago, once again trying to drag him off to the dancefloor, but to no avail; Legend tried, too, but it also didn’t work. Nothing—and he meant nothing—was going to get him off of his comfortable stool. No siree. In fact, the only thing he was sure was going to get him off was the invitation to leave this stupid club.
“Hey, half-pint, what’s someone like you doing around these parts?”
Now that he thinks about it, getting thrown out has always been a perfectly good solution to his problem.
