“What, you gonna call daddy to come beat me up?” Dreads mocks him, sticking out his bottom lip in an exaggerated pout.
Zanka feels the anger bubble up inside him at the comment, hot and cloying as it courses through his veins—and decides he needs to go home, right now, or someone’s getting punched. “Fuck you. I’m leavin’.” Then he turns on his heel to march to the back door of August’s house.
“Yeah, call your limo, pretty boy!”
Okay. That’s enough.
Zanka turns back around, cocks his arm back, and decks the guy in the face.

Summary
He and Jabber had met freshman year, and, for a reason he couldn't place, everything about the guy irked him. From the overly nonchalant-but-somehow-effortlessly-cool way he dressed to his smug attitude, Jabber had gotten under his skin from the moment they met. Unfortunately, Jabber had seemed to latch onto that like a garotte.
Zanka had three goals in school: Don't disappoint his parents, Don't disappoint his siblings, and Don't disappoint God.

"I met this…guy?" he began. A smirk almost tugged the corners of Gojo's lips, but a nudge by Geto was enough to erase the smug expression, "I was patrolling, as usual. And some…guy…crashed into me while I was in midair and—"
"Woah there, pause." Gojo cut him off, clearly more awake now. "Did I hear that right? What do you mean crashed into you while you were in midair?"
"I said what I said. Some guy crashed into me, and that's why I'm asking if the experiment lost two specimens or more."
Gojo rubbed his temples, eyebrows furrowing. "I don't think so. I retrieved as many documents as I could from the lab, but none of them mentioned a second spider or anything similar."

Drugs do weird things to your brain chemistry, but the infatuation and interest Jabber harbored had nothing to do with the sheer amount of chemicals in his system. It was all natural baby, and it just so happened that falling head-over-heels for a model meant that chasing his 'perfect person' became unreasonably hard. He'd just have to work his way to the top. How hard could it be to land a sponsorship with the Nijikus anyways?

Summary

Trapped by the complexities of the Great War, which was occurring at the time, the Japanese government were powerless as this unfolded.
In 2017, French agents Arthur Rimbaud and Paul Verlaine set out on their mission to rescue the victims, shedding light on their suffering globally. In 2018, Agatha Christie of the British Espionage Department surrendered Dostoevsky, who was then under her command, to the Japanese; his imprisonment was the catalyst for the war's ending.
Three years later, the man who became Japan's greatest public enemy escaped from prison and was suspected to be the one who trigged a zombie apocalypse, which began in Yokohama and soon spread to the three cities that he had first established his Labs. And that is where this tale unfolds — in the midst of a city with claws and fangs, following a cast of characters desperate to escape their respective pasts and build their stories in the future.
Problem is, some stories are doomed from the start.
