Summary
And in that pulse of light John sees him.
A man wearing a dark hood stands at the end of the hallway, massive and hulking, larger than any human should be. His shoulders rise and fall, slow and steady and John knows whoever this man is — he’s no soldier. There’s an underlying motion to him, a twitch that has John reaching for the pistol that he doesn’t have, warning bells going off in his mind.
The light sputters once more, and the figure is shifting, the slightest incline of his head as if he’s just realized John was behind him. But something is — different, the light seeming to catch on more than one shape at once.
“Identify your —” but words fail him as the figure turns further, John able to get a peek of what lies beneath the hood, the harsh light catching on the edge of a white skull mask. Haunting and familiar and John feels his breath catch sharp in his chest.
“Simon.”

His father pulled him out of school since he couldn't seem to keep a handle on his emotions -- he kept getting into fights and his grades were slipping. Now that he's returning for his junior year he's not expecting much. He'd never been particularly popular, and school politics meant nothing to him. He never expected to make any friends, and he certainly never expected to fall in love with the biggest asshole in the school. That's just his luck, it seems.

“Let me be clear: it would require a huge sacrifice,” Price said, and Soap got the feeling Price was now addressing him and only him. “A lot of things would still change. But, if we do it, we wouldn’t have to add anyone new to the team, and we’d fulfill the requirements of the mandate.”
Price looked around the room slowly, finally landing back on Soap.
“Sergeant MacTavish, you’re the one we’re asking to make this sacrifice.”
This time he was sure everyone was looking at him. He squared his shoulders, tried to shrug off the apprehension Price’s words inspired, and faced Price head-on.
“You know I’ll do it if I can, Captain. Tell me what you want me to do.”
Price took a breath, hesitated, then cleared his throat. The air was still and thick. No one else moved a muscle.
“Soap, there’s no delicate way to say this. We want to bitch you.”
Soap’s ears started ringing. He felt his face go hot.

He certainly wasn’t the only soldier out of regulation, hell Price faced the brass constantly and he still kept his mustache!
Shifting uncertainly, Soap glanced between the pair, a soft whine slipping from him as he pouted. “Isnae that bad! Right, L.T?” Emploring eyes turned to the quiet man next to him, only to be met with an arched brow that Soap just knew was partnered with a smug smile.
“Dunno Johnny, can’t say I haven’t considered doing the job for them myself,” he rumbled.

Taskforce 141 is the only squad composed of exclusively revenants, individuals who gain powers after dying once. Ghost is the revered revenant Lieutenant, who's powers are unknown to most and are only referred to as "Limbo".
Ghost works alone. Until a certain Scot shows up.

Ghost stood up way too fast, his vision blurring from the sudden change in position. When his vision finally cleared, he saw Johnny. He was walking towards the others with a smug look on his face, and his left arm was casted and in a sling.
