They hadn't expected to find themselves in this position. Each of them was forced together by the villain's quirk, forced intimacy that none of them had wanted. Or, maybe it was just Izuku and Kirishima who didn't want it. As Izuku looked to Shouto and Katsuki, he found chemistry. He saw how their bodies were pressed together and when they kissed, Izuku saw red. As his mind screamed its protests of Mine! his body lashed out, kicking the two away from each other and breaking their hold.
All Izuku could feel after that was a white-hot rage. He needed to get away.

“We’re not exactly sure yet, the only accurate information we have is that it messes with your personality,” Aizawa explained. “In this case, Midoryia is a little…well—.”
“He’s an asshole,” Katsuki sneered. Aizawa sighed.
“Guess that makes two of us huh, Kacchan,” Izuku replied and Katsuki could hear the mischief in his damn voice.
Katsuki rolled his eyes. “The difference is I’m always supposed to be the asshole, not you.”

There were certain..tell-tale signs of a soul mate. There wasn't so much a definite factor, rather there were multiple giveaway signs that discretely pointed out that someone was your soul mate. Like a friendly hint from the soul.
Izuku was not gifted with that discrete notification from whatever higher being issued them. Of course his soul mate hit like a storm.
The thing was..Izuku knew exactly who his soul mate was. The two of them had known since they were kids. The extreme pull they felt for one another, that Izuku embraced and Bakugou..well Bakugou ignored or attempted to completely destroy. Apparently the universe, did not agree with Bakugou's methodologies.

Hinata is balls-to-the-walls energy, running into danger like a madman on a mission, while Tobio stands back, providing emergency care to those who need it. He knows his work is essential, and that there is honor and pride in being a paramedic, but it is kind of exhilarating watching firefighters work, and a different kind of adrenaline consistently pumps through Tobio’s veins seeing Hinata dive head first into literal fire, every single time, only to come out all scruffed, sweaty, and rugged-looking.
Tobio is but a simple man, so he can admit, even if just to himself, that seeing Hinata work is the hottest thing he has ever witnessed. No pun intended.
Every call was a new kind of fire, but the one burning between Kageyama and Hinata is the one threatening to consume them both.
And it takes a near-death experience and a cramped supply closet for them to finally stop fighting the flames.
