    “Exactly!” Aang cut in, “You know how lovebirds are! One minute it’s all ‘raa, let me kill you!’ Then it’s—‘no, my love, marry me!’”

    The king was not impressed.

    “Avatar,” his voice was a rumble, “are you telling me my bride, whom I was promised over ten years ago, has decided to become wed to this—” his eyes cut to the left, “—thing?”

    Aang looked over at Sokka, who was sweating profusely in the corner of their small cell, and turned back to the king. “…How mad will you be if I say yes?”

    Or: When the Gaang is kidnapped by a very wealthy Earth Nation kingdom, Sokka and Zuko must pretend to be a couple to keep the King from claiming Zuko as his bride.

    Imagine if everybody died in the war, i mean a group of traumatized children against the fire LORD? Zuko dies of the lightning, Azula breaks the chains and kills Katara. Toph, Sokka, and Suki die of the ship crashing. Aang losing the battle and Ozai setting him on fire. Maybe when they all wake up during when Zuko crashed the ship in Katara and Sokka’s village, where Toph wakes up in her bed, Aang feels the burning cold sensation once again, and Suki's original soul never moves into the new one, they will have enough time?
