Trying to give Vi some modesty, Caitlyn covered her back up with the black jacket and examined her face. That face that she had missed terribly. As she moved to brush the hair back from Vi’s face, Vi’s eyes opened and locked on hers, fear and pain obvious in every feature.
“Say what you need to say, Kiramman. I can take it.” Vi groaned in pain as she tried to sit up, but Cait pushed her back down firmly. Vi coughed and a small amount of blood landed on the cot beside her. Vi mumbled, “I know you don’t want me. I know I’m trash. You aren’t telling me anything I didn’t already know. Just don’t touch me. I can’t bear that anymore.” A tear rolled down Vi’s face.

Vi has gotten a new target placed on her back in Sillwater prison, forcing her to meet the curious medical trainee Caitlyn Kiramman.
They meet on rocky terms but slowly start to feel drawn to each other in Vi's reoccuring visits into the medical wing.
But after a while she finds these visits are something she looks forward to due to a certain blue haired woman.Caitlyn grows worried for Vi overtime and tries to find out why the poor girl is getting targeted by the prisoners and the wardens themselves and is determined to figure out what in on the to muscular woman that she feels strangely attached to.

Set between Jinx leaving Vi in the cell in Stillwater to Caitlyn opening the cell door. An examination of Vi's previous trauma and how that could manifest when she's left in the bowells of Stillwater for that unknown period of time.
“When will you learn I wonder?”
She can’t see the Warden but tracks his movement through the clack of his cane off the flagstones behind her. Two guards hold her, wrenching her arms behind her back while a third fastens a pair of handcuffs around her wrists.
It’s not long before she’s left two of the guards groaning on the floor and the third clutching at his nose, eyes blazing with fury from across the room.
“You bith,” he spits through blood and broken cartilage.
“So stubborn,” the Warden coos, as he walks forwards towards her, his mountainous frame seemingly taking up the entire room, forcing her back until she feels rough stone against her bare shoulders. “But not to worry, we can fix that”.

Freshly out of medical school Caitlyn transfers to stillwater prison, she learns that there is practically no healthcare for inmates when searching for a new job and wants to offer her services and knowledge to make a difference as she believes they deserve basic respect, even if they are convicted criminals.
She eventually treats one woman, who is often the cause for most of her patients, and cant help but notice how beautiful she is, even when shes bedridden with various injuries in her office over the past couple months. As Vi keeps making visits to her suite she can't help but wonder what she did to be confined in these walls. While she actively dismisses the feelings of deja vu when shes around the pink haired woman.
After all, Caitlyn slowly discovers that she has a good heart.

The giant weighed the bag in one hand thoughtfully, then looked down to inspect his new inmate. She was obviously young, maybe 15 or 16, filthy, covered in bruises and smeared with blood, which flowed freely from her nose. Clearly, she’d had a rough night. Years ago, he might have had a moment of compassion for the child, but this place had eroded his humanity.
“Disappearing prisoners go to Cell 12, Level 40.” He handed over a ring of keys.
“No records,” stated Marcus, and pushed Vi toward the mechanical lift.

Vi spends 7 years in Stillwater Prison, where unexpected friendship gives her the strength to hold on to herself while she dreams of reuniting with her sister. An imagining of Vi's time in Stillwater, based on the premise that it wasn't all beatings and solitary, that something else had to have happened, something good, in order for her to become the character we know and love. Not torture porn. Brief descriptions of violence, some implied sex, but not explicit.

Dark Caitlyn returns
Vi woke up in a four poster bed, a warm breeze caressing her cheek with the softness of a gossamer curtain. Her lungs burned and her head throbbed but it was nothing compared to the feeling of dread that plunged though her stomach.
She moved her arm only to find it bound by a metal cuff. A glance upward revealed the very same skylight that had filled her with awe the first time she had seen it. Vi remembered how it materialised above her in a dream, how she had watched as the very fabric of the sky peeled and cracked away from her. The skylight refused to distort and she knew she wasn't dreaming this time.
“Violet," Caitlyn called out sleepily, "you’re awake.” It made Vi's blood run colder than ice.

This is a story of starting a new life, leaving the past behind. It is sad, and will hurt from time to time. This story is slightly inspired by 'Good Will Hunting'.
I will only continue writing this story if I get enough encouragement and engagement from the readers. When readers stop, I stop too, no kidding.
