Kosaku Kawajiri sat in the worn armchair he always sat in, reading the morning newspaper like he did every other morning. He held a steaming cup of fresh coffee that had been prepared by his wife, Shinobu, like always. She sat on the sofa, watching the morning news like she usually did. The morning routine was the same as it always was in the Kawajiri household.
Except for one thing. Kosaku Kawajiri was not Kosaku Kawajiri. This was not the man in the armchair’s usual morning routine, although he wore Kosaku’s face. The man who sat in the armchair, with the morning paper in one hand and the cup of coffee in the other, was called Kira Yoshikage, and he had stolen Kosaku Kawajiri’s life.
Kira Yoshikage is having a more difficult time than he'd expected blending into life in the Kawajiri household.

If she could only climb across this granite counter, slip through the shimmering mirror, and be immersed in a world where the whimsical flourished, where the biggest threat was a queen dressed in red with an oddly shaped head. Her fantasy world was much preferred to one where evil and corruption feasted upon the weak and strong alike, instead of a world that fed the whimsical and light-hearted.
