It didn't happen the way it was portrayed. Osiris was dead, and now Isis was on the run, hunted by the brother who swore to keep her secret and to keep her safe—all because she refused to be his queen!
Pregnant with Osiris's heir, Isis knew that the only way she could upset the rule of Seth and restore the integrity of the throne was to bring forth a contender. Seth had no intention of making it easy on her, acting like he was determined to end her life and that of her unborn child! Isis only had to hold out until Horus was old enough to stand against his uncle.
But the God Supreme was a hard one to refuse, and despite his many faults, even harder not to love, as the young Horus would come to discover.

How did it all go so wrong? One minute, they were together, and in love (it was their little secret... until it wasn't), and the next Seth was taken from him. Heartbroken, Osiris was determined to get him back, and it would end up costing him everything!
Osiris is dead, but instead of cursing herself and her siblings, Isis focuses on extracting the seed of her wretched husband so she can have a child of her own. Once all that Osiris had done to Seth was revealed, as well as the little present his brother had left him with, their lives would take a different turn as the siblings are soon joined by two new additions. Things would never be more chaotic for this already dysfunctional family.

Apophis knows all about them, the children of Geb and Nut. He knows the devastation that will follow after they are born, and he doesn't like it one bit! Why even allow such a thing? Why not just let him devour the cosmos as intended? His worries are placated by Heka, who commands this experiment to continue. So Apophis watched, and he waited.
The day came, and with the emergence of each child, the uneasy feeling that grew in his gut worsened. But for the last bundle of joy, he was intrigued. Apophis watched this child of chaos closely as he burst forth from the womb, waiting with infinite patience for the day that they would meet...
A dangerous obsession would soon develop, and he was no longer sure if he was meant to destroy the beautiful God of Chaos or serve at his feet for all of eternity. One thing that the Demon Serpent knew with certainty was that he would have rivals for the heart of Seth, and he was prepared to do whatever it took to come out on top!

As if his lungs were clogged with dust or sand, the man clutches his chest frantically, feeling a strange fabric tightening against his skin. Squeezing, like bandages, as if he were a mummy buried alive.
