“As low as you using my quarters to sleep in and store your flower paper?” Senku shot back as he felt a smirk naturally start to form on his face. It would seem that he’d missed their banter more often than he thought, as of late.

Gen shut off the TV with a huff, angrily throwing the remote onto the floor before burying his head into the couch cushion and letting himself go.
Oh yes indeed, everyone was having the time of their lives, back in a newly minted world with technology and high rises and working water pumps. Everyone except for one. Because of those 367 days since they saved humanity. Gen had been alone for 322 of them.

Gen giggled as he sat on the edge of the bed and somehow managed to expertly wrangle Senku’s lab coat off. “How’d you even make it by yourself for that long? Today was supposed to be the hottest day of the year.”
Senku giggled too, feeling light and almost tipsy as he pointed finger guns in what he assumed was Gen’s direction, slurring his words as he said, “Science baby~.”

In Gen's humble opinion, snow days were the best. When there are blankets of snow covering everything in the area and the air is chill and crisp. When soft snow petals fall from the sky and land in his wings, and he can shake them out with a little shimmy. The day's that he can fly low to the ground and crash into a snowbank, shaking the fluffy powder off him while Suika and the rest of the village children follow him.
