Summary
At the turn of his third decade, Mitsuki is forced to confront the fact that he'd really peaked at thirteen. It's all been downhill since then. Certainly, if he'd lived in the past, maybe things might have been different but in this age of peace, shinobi aren't needed, and there's no justification for breaking the rules.
Everyone sees him as a disappointment because they expect him to be like his... parent... but really, he's just an adequate lab technician. To top things off, his best friend is in the middle of divorcing the Hokage and won't leave his apartment, his other best friend is said Hokage, and his sort-of-girlfriend is breaking up with him to marry someone her clan can get behind -- someone without a history of insanity and treason lurking in his genetic makeup; someone who wasn't grown by a psychotic Missing Nin in a jar.

Summary
Presented for your enjoyment(?) here is some very silly Rusty x Brock MPREG slash written in response to a request on the anonymous kink meme. (Man, I loved that thing.) I tried to keep them IC as best as I could so it's more ho-ho-they-are-so-married as opposed to, er, hot business. It's a collection of little scenelets that would probably occur over the course of many episodes, all smushed together. It's like a bunch of sideplot stuff all in one place. Er. Enjoy? (Reposted from LJ and ff.net.)
It's not that I'm not happy, just, ah, a little confused about how it happened, 'cause as far as I know we never... ah, did we?

Summary
Written for the anonymous "Venture Bros Kink Meme" back in 2009. Initially posted anonymously using LiveJournal.
The prompt:
Brock/Rusty - oh-my-god-you're-back reunion sex; or mush; or both; was it not agonizingly obvious how much they were trying to not act like they missed each other? so very desperately?

This did such a good job of portraying what it's like to work in academia/education; wow. And then you go and add all the enemies-to-friends-to-lovers stuff and just... . This was amazing. I adored the storylines with the students being advised and the flashbacks where Jayce was struggling with Viktor's illness and also being hoodwinked by Noxus. And the payoff when they finally cleared the air was so satisfying.
Also when it was revealed that Heimerdinger put them in the same office on purpose I laughed and started singing the "wingman" song from Bob's Burgers because I am.a dork.

“Girls.”
Viktor’s cheeks darken.
"And family."
Oh, Jayce really fucked it up now.
Viktor disappears from the lab because of a chronic pain flare. Jayce offers to help.

What a lovely, raw, awkward and then utterly sweet getting-together story. With s-m-u-t, gosh.

Summary
It's as predictable as the laws of physics: a Piltover golden boy should despise a starving inventor from the undercity. But when Viktor's tipped off to a scholar buying strange materials in the Lanes, he's desperate enough to sneak topside and propose a deal. He's not expecting to break every rule he's learned to live by for a man who needs him just as much.
Or, the Arcane Act 1 AU where Viktor never left the undercity, but he found Jayce anyway.

Bookmarker's Notes
The narration in this was sublime. So wonderfully grim and scathingly pessimistic.
