Summary
What if Robert was forced to take a leave after his concussion received at the bar fight? Robert finds himself at Flambae's home and in his care while he recovers. During this confusing situation, Flambae reveals where his feelings for Robert and Mecha Man clash. With a jumbled memory of this moment, however, Robert finds himself confused by Flambae's actions since.
I was mildly annoyed by Robert having zero recovery time after a concussion. I couldn't even read when I had mine so I needed to fix that. And what better fix it than my Dispatch OTP? Slightly stretched timeline to give them more bonding moments, but the story progresses mostly how the game does. No one gets cut from the Z Team, and no dogs are threatened by Shroud. Why? Because I can.

"Heisenberg?!" Ethan lowers his gun, feeling suddenly, horribly tired. "What the hell are you doing here?"
"Nice to see you too, Ethan." Ethan's first name practically drips out of Heisenberg's mouth. He's been using a dinner plate as an ashtray, Ethan notices—the kind of minor detail the mind focuses on in moments of extreme stress (god, he's probably lucky the bastard bothered to find himself an ashtray at all).
But Heisenberg's still talking: "Dropped by, you weren't home, so I let myself in. Wouldn't want me loitering around your porch, bringing down the neighbourhood, would you?"
Ethan grits his teeth. He'd actually forgotten just how annoying Heisenberg could be. "Which still doesn't explain what the hell you're doing here."

With a harsh, grating buzz, the factory doors tugged open–the grinding chugs of machines displaced the easy wisping winds outside.“I’d like to speak with you about Rose… And Miranda. Oh, come on in–and don’t worry. It’s not a trap…”

Summary

Summary
Five years after the demon’s defeat, odd things are happening throughout Melini—magical barriers cast to keep fleeing monsters out of towns and villages are failing, monsters are appearing where they shouldn’t be, and magic users—including Mithrun—are falling ill with a mysterious mana sickness.
Are these things related? And worse, are they a sign that the dungeon is becoming active again, despite Laios’s curse and the demon’s defeat?
Mithrun and his squad of former Canaries must investigate, but when they suddenly stop communicating by fairy, it’s up to Kabru and his motley crew to come to the rescue.

Summary
Two years have passed since the defeat of the Demon. The Elven Queen has decided it is time for the Canaries to unseal the dungeon in Utaya and clear it of monsters, and both Kabru and Mithrun have reasons to volunteer for the mission.
Just as Kabru begins to realize that his feelings for Mithrun may be more than just friendship, something goes wrong at the containment site, trapping the two of them alone in the dungeon. As they wait for help to arrive, Kabru and Mithrun once again rely on each other for survival, and this time, it's Mithrun's turn to learn more about Kabru and his family history than either had ever expected.

“I wouldn’t dismiss that thought too quickly,” Mithrun droned despite the relatively straight-forward conclusion: It existed in front of Laios without issue, so it wasn’t a monster.
“Clearly, I’m not,” said the other Mithrun, standing crossed armed before them with a twitch in his brow. Laios pursed his lips. The other Mithrun was still glaring at him from moments prior where Laios tried to hand one of them a handkerchief to wear in order to tell them apart: completely overlooking the fact that this new Mithrun had two eyes, intact ears, and a far more expressive face and voice than their beloved captain, who looked unbothered beside him.

Mithrun met Kabru’s gaze. He was tall and well-statured. Milsiril must have cared for him well that when he had set out on his lonesome, he managed just fine. If he remembered, he’d have to tell her about her son. “I’ve seen Utaya before.”
Kabru’s smile faded to a small, knowing one. “You were there for the collapse of the dungeon?”
“I was not.” Kabru’s chin lifted ever so slightly. “I visited fifty years before it was destroyed. There were sandstone buildings, the fairest of them laden with intricate tiles that caught the sun in fragments. In the center of the city stood a bustling market adorned with handwoven rugas and beadery. They had more spices than I had ever heard of before. I still cannot name them all.”
A laugh emerged from Kabru’s throat. There was a crinkle in the sides of his eyes that he rubbed with his knuckle, his gaze falling to the grass as a more genuine grin emerged. “You know, no one really talks about that anymore."
