It'd all count as weird sex, he supposes. It's certainly nothing like what was described in their flash training as cadets.

A surrealist, beautiful, and brutal takedown of how totalitarianism can leave you in a cycle so meaningless you don't even realize you're in a time loop, and also about how people matter. Beautifully surreal, and somewhere around the end of the scene with the empty senate I started crying and, straight up, did not stop for a full hour. Hopeful/peaceful ending. A story that gives grief room to breathe and so does not make death a weapon.

The voice sounds behind them suddenly, and all of them startle and whip around in synchronization.

Four tilts his head, bringing his hand to his lips and inhaling deeply around the cigarette dangling between his fingers. When he exhales, the smoke curls around his head like a halo before drifting into the air.
