Summary
“You can’t smoke in here,” Shane said again, and the young Prince raised an eyebrow at him, puffing away at his pipe, “Prince Ilya Rozanov right?” Shane stepped into the warmth of the barn. “Shane Hollander, Duke of Montre,” Shane extended his hand and Ilya looked at his hand and then him.
Then he slowly took Shane’s hand in his own gloved ones, blowing the smoke out the side of his mouth, a curious look on his face.
After the end of the war, the second prince Ilya Rozanov remains as a glorified political prisoner under the watchful eye of Shane Hollander, Duke of Montre. Shane is the best man for the job, except he is increasingly distracted by the handsome second Prince. Just how long can Shane resist him?

Summary
“Hi, this is Firefighter Buckley with the 118. Isabel and Josephina got a clean bill of health, sir. You don’t have anything to worry about, I’ll be here with them if they have any questions for us,” Buck reassures, and, surprisingly, he’s met with absolute silence on the other end.
He waits a few seconds, then lowers the phone to check if the call dropped. It still says ‘Edmundo’ on the screen, and Buck catches a glance at the contact picture of said Edmundo on Isabel’s phone, and gapes for a moment. The guy’s real young, holding a newborn baby in his arms, baseball cap pulled down over most of his face but a dazzling smile, clear as day, peaks out.
“Right. Uh, thank you, Firefighter Buckley.” And wow, oh. It’s a nice voice too, velvet and rich sounding. A little gravelly, but in a very pleasant way. Buck likes it. But not in any way that means something. Objectively, it’s a nice sounding voice. Right.
***
Or, the five times Abuela and Pepa try to matchmake probationary firefighter Buck with freshly single dad Eddie moving to Los Angeles, and the one time they don't need to do anything at all.
