Toby filled half a dozen pages before he wrote, The monster took me. He finished that page with, Now I have written everything down. Toby looked over everything, searching for answers in it. He found none.

Hansol bit his lower lip hard enough to break the skin, he didn’t mean to say it aloud, didn’t mean to retort back but he just— he couldn’t keep doing it too.
“I can’t understand it Hansol, I really can’t,” He added softly, tensed shoulders relaxing with a sigh, “and I don’t think you can understand me yet too.”
He was completely right. He couldn’t understand his master at all.
Or in a world where slavery is legal and common, Seungcheol finds Hansol, a slave empty of emotions. Trusting his Instinct, he buys the man and finds himself in a mess of corruption and decides with the help of his friends to abolish slavery.
But not everything goes like he expects, especially when his own feelings starts to grow for Hansol, his broken heart seeming to be ready to heal after so many years.
