“Daddy, I found the milk!”
The words were accompanied by a tug on his sleeve, and Hizashi startled so badly he dropped the tub of ice cream he was holding.
He managed to awkwardly catch it between his hip and the freezer door before it hit the ground, and let out a sigh of relief. Then he remembered his priorities, and glanced over to the right, where a young boy with bright green eyes and hair was nervously shuffling his feet, holding out a carton of milk with the hand not attached to Hizashi’s sleeve. He was tiny. Only four years old, perhaps? Five?
Hizashi looked in confusion from the hand on his sleeve to the milk and back to the boy’s face. “Hey kid, I think you’ve got the wrong—”
“No, Daddy, we always have this milk!” the boy said quickly, rushing the words before Hizashi could finish. This time, however, his eyes darted nervously over his shoulder, and Hizashi paused. That wasn’t just nervousness in the boy’s eyes – it was fear.
Or: Hizashi saves tiny Izuku in a grocery store, and then proceeds to save him forever.

“What’s your name, kid?” Shouta blurted the question in a rare moment of impulse.
The child only glances at him, chewing his lip with anxious eyes like he’s done something wrong, before making his move on their sand board. “Iz-Izuku. What’s your name, M-Mr?”
“Aizawa Shouta. Nice to meet you, Izuku-kun.” Manners taste weird, Shouta decides as he gives a polite nod.
Yamada and Aizawa have been married for three years now, together for five, and despite still being fairly young and just getting a handle on being pro heroes they’ve decided they want to start a family together, starting by going to a children’s home for a visit and playing with the kids to figure out what they’re getting into, with the intent of eventually adopting when their careers become stable. But no one told them that sometimes it's the kid that chooses, not the parents, and the universe is a bit impatient to see a certain green haired child's happiness.

The door jingled, Kirishima bolting upright.

But no—his hand was empty, and it was clear nothing was in between their hot skin, and this wasn’t a shove. This was… steady. Firm. Warm.
Bakugo laced their fingers together like it was nothing, like it wasn’t completely insane, and started walking.

Especially seeing as how he was, in fact, on the cheerleading team for the football season, and the boys on said football team were all brainless assholes who had no regard for the feelings of others…well…all but one. The boy Izuku had, regretfully, been pining over for 11 years. It only gets worse when he finds out he has to transfer to a new gym. He hadn’t known his pathetic crush was an active gymnast and that fate was hellbent on ruining his life. He was so fucked.
Katuski Bakugo cared for three things in his life: strength, football, and success. Who cares about fickle things like high school romance and prom dates? The girls would cheer his name, vying for his attention, but he wouldn’t give them a glance, especially the cheerleaders. They were the worst in his eyes, with their pom poms and hair so large it reached heaven, except for one: his childhood friend. The boy who never failed to grab his attention. Maybe it’s the mess of curls on his head or the fact that he’s the only male cheerleader – but he has no time for romance, not when he’s convinced himself love isn't in the cards for him.
