Summary
What good could she even get out of moving to a small town in the middle of nowhere? The only things waiting for her there were manual labor and bugs. That wasn't the kind of life she wanted to live, even if her grandfather had made it seem like the best decision she could make. It was better for her to stay in the city, a place that offered her so much more: shops, restaurants, outdoor activities, a job she hated, a roommate she genuinely feared, and the crushing pressure of her desire to be happy.
Pelican Town had nothing to offer her, except...maybe a chance to be surrounded by people who would be kind to her and treat her like more than an object. Maybe it was a chance to get away from people who made their disappointment clear and people who made her question why she existed in the first place. Maybe she couldn't remember how to be happy, but that didn't mean she was undeserving of it.
And if moving away from everything she was used to could make her happy again, why not take the chance?

Summary
The day after she stepped off the bus the corporate slave turned farmer had been tasked with introducing herself to the townsfolk. Luckily there wasn't much of a population but was a daunting task none the less. With the courage she had left from her move she made her name known to the people in the valley. Midoriya Izuku knows teachers are all the same. He had wanted so, so badly for Sensei to be different. He had always admired Eraserhead as a pro hero, and then Sensei had saved his life. And, yes, he was strict, but so much nicer than any teacher before.
But he was still a teacher. And Izuku was still a quirkless, useless freak who didn’t deserve any of this. Not for free, at least.
He thought he’d never have to go back. But he would, for his dream.

Aizawa Shouta knows something's wrong with his problem child. Recklessness, lack of trust, and all the broken bones from a quirk the kid couldn't control. None of it made sense. And what finally tipped Aizawa over the edge was the most recent test results. His number one problem child kept missing questions Aizawa knows he should be getting correct. It was about time the underground hero got some answers from his student.
