The first time Suguru meets Gojo, he knows it must be a mistake.
“Are you okay?” are words that should never be coming out of that guy’s mouth. Especially now.
It’s just his luck; his shitty, good-for-nothing luck that landed him a soulmate that’s the complete opposite of what he likes.
Suguru knows his type. Mild. Kind. Brown eyes, maybe. Someone that he can talk to easily and stay silent with just as well. Not this arrogant, snarky, loudmouth of a sorcerer. Suguru barely got the chance to summon his cursed spirits before the guy came jumping into his scene, laughing like it’s all a joke as he exorcises a Grade 2 with a swipe of his fingers.
“Suguru-kun, you have a kind soulmate,” he remembers his aunt telling him. “Their first words are out of worry for you.”
He looks back at Gojo, bashing a curse’s head into the concrete, gleeful like a child with a new toy, and thinks, bullshit.

With an impossible deadline and a crazy wedding crew, Suga doesn't have time to think twice of the attractive cop. Daichi isn't sure he can juggle his job, being the dad of his group, and his feelings for Suga all at once. Both know they just can't fall in love.

“Snow,” He stage-whispers. There’s only a few inches between their faces; Simon Snow smells like cinnamon and sweat and strawberry shampoo. There’s a freckle on the tip of his nose that Baz hadn’t noticed before. It’s faint, and vaguely heart-shaped. He’d like to kiss it.
“Yeah?” It could be a trick of the light, or Baz’s hyperactive imagination, or maybe just stupid hope, but he’d swear it on his mother’s grave: Simon glances at his lips as he says it.
“Did you know,” (Baz can’t say he’s been this close to anyone except Penny or Wellbelove, and it was very different then. His heart didn’t beat this fast and his breath didn’t come this short and he most certainly wasn’t fighting the urge to kiss either of them.) “That I’m the gayest man this side of California?”
He can hear the hitch in Simon’s voice, and then a wide grin replaces the anxiety on the boy’s face. “Shit, really? Which side? That’s like, directly across or something.”

Sometimes, I catch glimpses. They make my brain squeeze and squirm—like my grey matter has been turned to needles. Internal wounds, all memories and blood.
It hurts every time.
I know I had him—whoever he was—erased. I know what it means. At some point, I wanted him gone. Wanted him gone so badly that I was willing to let them wipe everything and leave the slate clean.
There’s no record of an erasure not sticking. No reports of memories ever coming back. Believe me, I’ve checked.
But maybe…maybe some people aren’t meant to be forgotten.
