Summary
“I think we know what’s wrong with you— and I think I know how to cure it,” Phil is trying his hardest to look encouraging, and reaches a tentative hand towards Tommy's shoulder. He halts, his fingers stilling in the air for a moment. Eventually, he sighs and withdraws his hand as if he were burned.
Tommy's scowl deepens. He doesn't trust Phil, not one bit.
“So? What do we do?” Tommy says, his tone aloof and stubborn. Phil gives him a pitying look, and Tommy doesn’t know what to make of it.
“We’re going home, Tommy.”
Flower Head is a fatal disease caused by extreme bouts of nostalgia and a longing for a past that is no longer possible. Flowers will begin to sprout from the scalp, slowly making their way to the eyes, face, and neck, blinding and eventually suffocating you.
Of course, Tommy falls victim to the illness.
The only cure? To bring him back to where his fondest memories lie.
It's time for their family to go home.

“And everyone is so old,” Tubbo complains. Somehow, without them knowing about it, Tubbo’s managed to swipe a waffle and is chewing on it happily. Sapnap stifles a laugh. “Well, not everyone, I guess- the kid in our room is our age, I think. He might be younger.”
Wilbur perks up. “Does he ice skate?”
“Yeah, he does. He’s got these sick skates and everything.” Tubbo explains. “He’s quiet though. We tried talking to him, but…”
“But?”
Tubbo shrugs. "He's quiet. He doesn't talk much. I guess he's busy."
or, Tommy's made it to the Olympics for figure skating- he's the youngest contestant on the ice and he's the favor for the gold. He's supposed to be living the dream. So why is he still so unhappy? And why do all these hockey players and snowboarders care so much about him?

Techno shifts the boy to the side and he can see a tail.
“–me go, you bitch! Fuck you! Let me go!”
A little warrior, Techno thinks as the boy kicks and curses in his fist. Runt, his mind screams, looking at just how small the boy is in his hands.

"Yes," Wilbur's cheeks hurt from how wide he was smiling. He should have never doubted Tubbo- Techno spoke to Dream a lot, even though they were rivals. This Tommy was everything he and Techno wanted. Wild, bright, a splotch of colour in the dreariness of their lives. Something they could protect. "You are."

Summary
Maybe Tommy had always known that they were going to leave. Maybe the sinking feeling in his stomach every time Phil went out of the house was his intuition telling him that he was going to do that one day and never come back.
Maybe the way his heart cried for Wilbur to come back after he’d leave for school was the universe hinting to him that he too would leave and never return. Maybe the tears he had shed when Techno was about to leave for his first tournament was his brain telling him to never let go because once he did he’d never get a second chance.
Maybe he should have listened. Now, he was alone. (All alone all alone all alone all alone no one loves you no one loves you no one loves you.) Phil was gone. Techno was gone. Wil was gone. And they weren’t coming back.

The one day that he wasn’t supposed to work. The one he was supposed to be on break. Dream had walked into that classroom of “delinquients” and heard the screaming. Of course, it wasn’t out loud. Rather, it was coming from one (1) lanky teenger in the very, very back of the classroom. His mind was going at 100 miles per hour and, if Dream was being completely honest it was a concerning stream of thoughts. Goddamnit Phil, how dare you spread that stupid familial propaganda to him because now he wasn’t going to stop tryna help the brat. No matter how many times he was cussed out. (Spoiler Alert: He was cussed out a lot.)
Tldr: hero!dream finds a depressed!tommyinnit and says “yes this is mine now” while being cussed out by said depressed toddler

Tommy didn’t remember much at all from before They took him. He remembered heat, and screaming, and then the total, absolute silence of death. He remembered choking on ash as he screamed, barely even a toddler, for his parents.
His first clear memory came only moments after, when he was gripped by warm hands and pulled from the rubble.
Now, as an adult, a not insignificant part of him wished that he had died as a child in the same flames that his village had been razed in.
OR
Tommy is a human raised by Gods who is sick of their shit and runs away to a better life. And you know what? It works.
