AKA: I saw the few seconds of Tommy sounding happy about Baba's name and turned it into a 5k word one shot because I wanted to.

Tommy never spoke much of what happened during exile, though his unrestrained hatred for Dream was loud enough that something had gone down between the two.
There were whispers about the things he would say, the threats he would make against the masked man. It was much more than hatred. It was loathing. Anger that had been festering for months beneath the surface, only bubbling up now that he had the chance to express it.
...
Everything should’ve returned to normal, and for the most part, from Sam’s view, it had. There was unrest, an unsatisfactory end for all their pain and suffering, but it was deserved. Dream was locked away, people had time to heal now.
And for a moment, it seemed like some were.

Dream couldn’t remember when he finally stopped denying Tommy was Theseus. Maybe it was exile when Tommy shapeshifted in front of him. Call Dream crazy, but fuck shapeshifters were rare, and with Tommy’s slightly sad really main character vibe-y backstory? Maybe he had to stop denying it.
Tommy was Theseus. And Dream had hurt him.

“Yeah, sure,” Tommy agreed, knowing that if they said he was kidnapped, it would keep people from getting suspicious of why he was seen in public with Siren. “Anyway, can I get the chicken nuggets happy meal, with a coke?”
or, how Tommy—who is not a hero, or a villain, or even a vigilante—saves the life of one of L'Manberg's most feared supervillains, and accidentally ends up becoming the resident doctor for every supervillain in town (and maybe gets a family along the way too).

“Kid! You better getcha ass over here!” The bear hybrid shouts, arms pumping and feet thundering down the street.
Tommy turns down the street into a mostly empty lane, lined with less popular shops and restaurants that weren’t open yet. He huffs and puffs as the man gains on him, tail whipping around, trying to keep his balance.
“Yknow, this isn’t very poggers.” He mumbles to himself. His ears twitch as the sound of door hinges sounds from in front of him. His eyes snap forward.
A man wearing a striped green sweater vest walks out of a shop, black wings extended wide. Right into Tommy’s way.
“FUCK!” Tommy shouts out loud. To be fair, he meant to say move, but his brain had been scrambled just a bit. The bird hybrid looks up in alarm, hands that were wrapped around small paper bags suddenly reaching out, as if to catch Tommy. The boy screeches to stop, inches away from the bird hybrid’s chest.

Tommy doesn't remember much from his childhood other than he somehow ended up working for Puffy who offered him a place to stay. He met Tubbo sometime after and moved in with the hybrid, working during the day and kicking ass at night, even if some of the gadgets given to him were on the more questionable side of 'I know this is already illegal but this feels illegal'.
So of course a sleep-deprived man enters the cafe on a day Tommy happens to be at the counter.

Since childhood, Tommy always loved being surrounded by nature. If you asked anyone who'd known him that long, they'd tell you about how flowers and trees alike seemed to bow in his presence. Almost as if they were trying to touch the boy whenver he was near. It was the softest and most innocent that Tommy ever was.
But as Tommy walked out of the prison, the feeling and memory of his death and revival made him question where has that child gone... Where was the child that loved to make flower crowns for everyone and who's only dream was to create a ginormous garden where all his friends and family could gather and bond... And lastly, if there was anyway, that he could still be that child...
