And a cross purposes conversation with Katara makes Zuko assume that these gifts contain a lot of cultural and emotional significance. And he accepts.
A story where Zuko falls in love via all the perfect little gifts Sokka gives him. And Sokka just needs a bit of catching up to end up on the same page.
