Summary
Shep gets worried after he hasn't seen the Batchers for nearly an entire day, and goes to investigate. He unintentionally intrudes upon a memorial service and learns of yet another loss the clone soldiers suffered during the days of the War.
Shep tried to keep his features schooled, but inside he was getting even more confused by the moment. "Ninety-Nine?" he repeated, wondering if he had heard the name correctly.
"Yeah. He was the first defective the longnecks allowed to decant, so the other cadets just called him by his number." Hunter watched the whiskey glimmer through the sunlit glass. "You know, he always made sure every other clone had a name, but in the end, he never gave himself one."

Summary
Fox doesn't want to admit he's sick because he wants to go see his batchmates. His batchmates don't want him to push himself too hard.
This ends in snuggles.
“Aw, kriff.”
That was all that squeaked through Fox’s clenched teeth as his caf cup nearly slipped out of his hand, and it was all he would allow himself to say as he reached for a crappy napkin to swipe up the drops that had splashed over the rim of his mug. Because if he said anything else, everything that had been pent up inside him for the past few days – or week, or month or actually his whole life – would come cascading out and he didn’t want that to happen ever, but especially not today.
Today he needed to keep it together, even more than usual. Today he didn’t have time for screwups, for cursing his way through the halls or dropping his favorite mug and breaking it into a million pieces. He could not acknowledge how sore his throat felt or how funny his voice sounded while it was being pinched by a stuffy nose. He couldn’t, and so he didn’t.
Today was too important.

Summary
Rex takes Hunter with him on what is supposed to be a simple mission. He should have known than nothing with a Bad Batcher is ever really that simple.
Or, Hunter turns into a gremlin of a little brother when it's just him and Rex, and the captain just has to deal with it.
Rex stared at the pale purple sky for a long few seconds, hardly daring to blink as he took a silent roll call and made sure all of his limbs and major organs were still where they should be. To his surprise, they were.
He could not believe that plan had actually worked.
He lay there for a moment, listening for the sound that would mean he and his sidekick for this little excursion had succeeded in their mission, when a low groan from nearby made him start.
“Hunter!”

Summary
Echo breathed out slowly and listened to the soft scratching of Wrecker’s tools, the creak of a thin bunk mattress as Crosshair shifted his scant weight, the steady rhythm that Tech was tapping against the cockpit floor as he worked. It was nice, being at rest like this with his brothers, and he smiled at the comfortable feeling.
It had been a month now since he and Fives had joined the Bad Batch, since they and the group of clones and Jedi sent to the Citadel had been rescued from what would have certainly been a fatal encounter had the modified Omicron shuttle not appeared in the skies over Lola Sayu. He had known immediately that the four troopers who risked their necks on an unauthorized detour to save them were special, but he had not expected them to become his own squadmates. He had never counted on integrating so thoroughly into their tight-knit ranks, but in the span of only a few weeks, it had just…happened.
Not that he would have it any other way.

Summary
For several rounds of sabacc, Tech had simply read and basked in the shouting, laughing, and general mayhem that was playing out amongst his siblings. Echo knew he would enjoy doing so for much longer, so he did nothing to impede his brother’s silent research.
Unfortunately but in keeping with his usual operating procedure, Crosshair did not follow his brother’s example.

Summary
“Deke!” Omega squealed, her voice reaching a pitch that made both Batcher and Hunter flinch away from the living room and made the moonyo playing with the lurca hound’s tail cover his little green ears. “Watch out! That's my ice cream!”
“Sorry!” the softhearted cadet called back. “I can't move under here.”
“Nobody can.” Mox's words were muffled, turned to mush by the amount of pillows and blankets between him and the Batchers. “We need more pillows to make it bigger.”
Echo had been calmly stirring a pot of whatever was for dinner as it simmered on the stove, but at that, his head snapped up, nostrils flaring.
“And just where do you think you'll be getting more pillows?” he asked flatly. He had already burned one dish due to the noisy distractions known as Omega, Lyana, and the three cadets, so he was just a tad cranky.
Suddenly, he stopped stirring and wrinkled his nose. “And why is there ice cream in the living room?”

Summary
Cody had always been thought of as just a soldier. Just a clone. Just a breathing weapon, created to maim and kill and destroy.
He knew that’s what most beings believed regarding the Fett clones, yet he and his brothers had always known they weren’t just what the Kaminoans made them to be. They knew they were sentient, capable of love, sorrow, and desire, and possessing all the emotions and faculties of intelligent beings. They knew they were human.
Cody knew that. He was reminded of that each time he looked at one of his brothers. Every time he had seen a cadet or held a newly decanted tubie on Kamino, every time he said another remembrance for a fallen brother. Every time he saw Riyo, and felt his heart stutter madly in his chest.
But sometimes, knowing the truth wasn’t enough.

Summary
Echo doesn't regret his decision to help the Clone Rebellion and leave Pabu once more with Rex, Cody, Wolffe, and Gregor. But he does miss the Batch and Omega, more than he can even say.
Cody tilted his head in confusion when he saw how Echo was sleeping in a ball, thinking that had to be uncomfortable while he was still wearing all his prosthetics – then he realized what the cyborg was curled around, and smiled softly.
“He said he couldn’t sleep because of the draft,” Rex whispered. He looked fondly at his younger sibling and shook his head with a faint, exasperated smile. “But I guess he just needed them.”

Summary
Plo Koon babysits crechelings, and photos of the Wolfpack make one little padawan think of how to cheer up a certain commander.
Charki plucked one of the printed photos from the pile and held it up to the older Jedi, his dark gray eyes alight with curiosity. “Is this Sinker?
“No, silly,” Zia huffed, grabbing a handful of the pictures that were not already in the possession of her fellow padawans and shuffling through the assortment. “That’s Wolffe.”
“How can you tell?” Fern asked, glancing between the two photos she held, one in each hand. Boost and Sinker were together in both photos, as was usual for the tight-knit siblings, and had their helmets on, so it was understandable that she was a little confused.

Summary
Wolffe has been recalled to Kamino for an evaluation after receiving his cybernetic eye, but Plo refuses to let him go alone after the last time. While there, the Kel Dor discovers something that may or may not change the fate of the entire universe.
Or, Plo Koon finds a baby on Kamino, and decides to keep it. Somehow, this saves the galaxy.
Plo froze as the honey-brown gaze locked onto him and for a moment, he and the infant merely stared at each other.
Then a tiny, high-pitched wail punctured the quiet of the nursery.
Plo rushed to comfort the baby so quickly that he snagged his robe on the container’s corner. “Shh, ad'ika.” The Mandalorian endearment slipped into the soothing words that spilled in hushed whispers from behind his breathing mask. “Shh, shh. It's alright.”
The little clone squirmed in his clear container, tears still glistening in his big brown eyes that were so bright and full of life, so innocent – so much like Wolffe's – and the thread pulled hard at Plo’s soul.
He couldn't leave him here. He just... couldn't.

“Brown Eyes!”
Tech jumped in his chair, Phee’s excited call ripping his attention from his book and making him knock over the mug that had been resting on his thigh. At least he had finished all the caf already.
He hastily shoved the cup onto the side table and sprang to his feet, starting toward the kitchen at almost a sprint. Even with the limp that he had been left with from his fall on Eriadu – that he would have forever – he could still move rather quickly when the occasion arose.
Being loudly summoned by his pregnant wife was just such an occasion.

Summary
Tech and Phee go night diving, and the genius contemplates what beauty really is.
All the lights that usually dotted Pabu’s peaceful shores were absent, shielded behind drawn curtains or put out for the night as the moon rose higher in an ebony sky. Every house that lay nestled in the island’s protective embrace was still and silent, restful on a cool summer night, as if the earth itself were enjoying the clear, cloudless view it was afforded of the stars. The entire island was asleep and had been for hours.
But Tech and Phee were not.

Summary
Cody thinks Obi-Wan is too trusting of their onworld contacts. Obi-Wan thinks Cody is paranoid - after all, why would a local militia leader want to poison his food?
Obi-Wan hates it when Cody is right, and this time, so does Cody.
Cody looked down at the plate in his other hand for the first time since it had been handed to him, and the creases at the corners of his eyes deepened with his frown. “Did you spoon this up?” he asked suddenly.
“No. All the plates were divvied out by the cooks tonight, apparently. But I did give you the one with less of the suspicious bread and more of the slightly less-suspicious...” Obi-Wan squinted down at his own meal. “Gruel? Or is it some sort of mash, do you think?”
“Don’t eat it.” Cody didn’t sound like he cared what it was called. “Switch with me.”

Summary
“Tech, look!” came Phee’s excited squeal. “There’re pictures in this one!”
“Of the jellyfish?” Tech asked, his tone dialed back compared to his friend’s but still quivering with childish enthusiasm. “Bioluminescent ones?”
“Yeah.” There was the sound of a page turning, and then Phee gave an exaggerated gasp. “And they’re pink!”
Cody chuckled softly to himself as he snapped the lid back on the yogurt container with a satisfying, plastic crack. The Hazards may have only moved next door a few months before, but little Phee was already a regular at the Fett household. Her much-older brother, Shep, was an energetically pleasant person whom Cody and Rex couldn’t help but like immediately, but Phee was a force of nature. Fives and Echo had been trying in vain for over a year to get the four little boys to venture out and make friends, and yet this little dark-haired, bright-eyed ball of animated cheerfulness had done it in a day.
