Nancy Wheeler’s 6-Step Plan to Revitalize Eddie Munson’s Image in Hawkins Society:
1. Clear Eddie’s name of all murder and/or otherwise criminal allegations (crossed off on April 2nd thanks to Doctor Owens and his government creeps)
2. Get Eddie graduated (crossed off May 22nd and accomplished thanks to the combined efforts of Nancy, Robin, and Jeff)
3. Find Eddie gainful employment (crossed off on June 4th after one really long and uncomfortable date with Nancy convinced Keith to use his connections at the arcade)
4. Get Eddie involved in volunteer work (crossed off on July 25th when, after a lot of resistance, they finally convinced Eddie to join Claudia when she goes to the soup kitchen on Wednesdays and, after even more resistance, convinced the church ladies to let him stick around)
5. De-scruffify Eddie’s appearance (still in progress because he refuses to stop using that god-awful 3-in-1 shampoo no matter how much Steve and Nancy beg and plead)
6. Use Steve’s social capital to elevate Eddie’s social standing (still in progress)--

Summary
The correct wrist is now within Eddie’s line of vision. He reaches down towards the place where Steve has it hovering over his criss-crossed lap. He tries to pay no attention to the smattering of moles and freckles that dot the inside of his arm like they belong somewhere up above next to Orion and Casseopia.
They’re not holding hands, but they might as well be as Eddie circles Steve’s wrist and begins to apply mild pressure to the hollow dent he had described before.
Or, Eddie & Steve take a very long and agonizing time to sort through what they mean to each other (slow burn, sexuality crises, unrequited/requited love, and a whole lot of angst)

"He had intended on a normal drive, really, just cruising at the speed limit to clear his head. But upon passing the last house on the stretch for miles, the long, empty road looks suggestive. Maybe even a little seductive. A bad itch builds from the base of his spine. Swallowing nothing, he presses the gas pedal slowly, eyes continuously flicking down to the speedometer as it climbs exponentially. The drone of the engine changes with it, getting louder, pitch keening, synchronizing with the blood that churns and rushes in and out through his heart, veins, brain.
The needle hovers just over 100mph for approximately one minute and fourteen seconds."
