Strickler survived, but his mom got dragged under with the ice titan.

His mom survived, but Aarrrgghh was turned to stone.

Aarrrgghh survived but Douxie hadn’t. Bellroc snapped his neck.
Jim could never forget the way he screamed.
Again and again he went back, tried to fix it, tried to save them all, but even if he saved most of them, one always died.
They died, and they died, until Jim lost track of how many times he’d gone back.
Now, he stood alone, surrounded by his friends’ dead bodies, facing off against the three demigods by himself with no armor, no amulet, no weapon.
“One. Last. Time.” He whispered and with a clench of his fist he was whizzed back in time.

While the rebellion does all they can do to stop the Galra from their cruel enlistments and kidnappings in an attempt to find said paladins, their forces are spread thin. They cannot stop all of them, and it becomes personal when Matt’s young sister is ripped right out of his arms.

There are only three rules for Keith at twenty-three: don't get bit, run and don't look back. He's a man on a mission: find Shiro. That has been his life for the past couple of years, and he knows that it's exactly how each day of his life will go until he completes that mission.
That is, until he meets Lance.
"And what are you going to do if I say no?" Keith asked cockily, narrowing his eyes with a knife still in the other man's face.
The man only rolled his eyes, the tip of his rifle still up against Keith's chest. "I guess we'll never know."
Keith only let out a forced short laugh. What a fucking asshole.

Summary
Matt Holt may seem perfectly fine, but define "fine." It’s been a good few years since he was last on Earth. In those passing years, he’s been kidnapped by aliens, promptly been rescued, joined an intergalactic war, been taught to fight and defend himself, and lost people in the process. How "fine" could he actually be?
A post-season-7 fan fiction dedicated to a more serious version of Matt Holt. Don’t get me wrong, I love the whole goofy, loving older brother who lets nothing bother him, but I beg to differ. Would anyone really be perfectly "fine" after going through what he likely went through? Some people’s psyches aren’t as "normal" as you’d like to think, and I’d like to explore that side of Matt.
Because this began before the release of season 8, there will be no regards to the plot of the final season as this all will have taken place before it and have verged from the canon storyline.

Summary
Shiro and the other paladins grew up together in foster care. Or rather, survived five years relying on each other in the "Hell House"—a foster home run by Anthony and Honvera Zarkon—before the system finally caught on and separated them.
But now Shiro is eighteen and has won custody of his self-proclaimed siblings. He's determined to give them the life they deserve, but circumstances are stacked against them. It's not easy to raise four traumatized teenagers, especially when you are more than a little traumatized yourself. Money is tight, stress is high, and on top of all that, Shiro is embarking on an all-but impossible of dream: attending college.
Shiro is determined, though. They've survived this long by the motto "If we work together, we'll win together." They will survive this, too.
