Tommy was absolutely over the moon the first time he laid eyes on the beat-up red hoodie inside the equally rundown thrift store. To him, the hoodie was a treasure that was worth his final five-dollar bill in order to live out his dream of being a vigilante and helping the people of his district.
Would his other newly emancipated roommates be interested in that? Probably not. Was he going to do it anyway?
Absolutely.
Since being saved by a vigilante when he was younger, Tommy always wished to be a vigilante. Now that he was emancipated he decided that now was his chance.

“What in the everloving fuck do you want with me?!” He growled, his ocean eyes making contact with the cat-like deep blue of the vampire opposite him.
The vampire looked like he thought Tommy was nothing more than an amusing pet that had pissed on the floor or gotten into the trash while he was away. Like after a soft scolding, the Crow would pull him close and tell him everything was alright.
Tommy wouldn’t admit the thought was kinda alluring after the fuckfest the past few days had been.
“Honestly, I thought you were smarter than that little lamb. What do I want from you? I want you to make a decision. Die here on your throne of the dead you could have prevented, or join me. Be turned. Live your life free from the restraints of being mortal,” A sick grin painted Crow’s face. A smile that chilled Tommy down to the bone and made him feel like there was never really an option that came with his ultimatum. It was rigged from the start.

Courtland Gentry did what he had to, to save his younger brothers. He hoped they didn't remember him. He knew that Ryland was gone. Colt would never hear of him. And this was the price he paid for their happiness. And then, it was feasible again. Sierra Six could be Courtland.

“I don’t know who I am, I don’t know where I am. Why are you crying?”
The man’s eyes had gone all watery in the matter of seconds, red at the rims of them, face softening just a little bit like he’d had some sort of life altering realization.
“Are you okay?” He asked, inching closer while the man scrambled off his rolling chair and stood taller, sniffling softly and hands shaking.
“No. Um–” the man’s mouth was agape, lips dry, face scruffy, and shaggy blonde hair stuck up all over the place. The man was dressed in soft sweatpants and some stupid graphic t-shirt that was rolled at the sleeves. He looked familiar, really, really familiar. “You look exactly like me.”
(Ryland and Colt are both made to be members of the Hail Mary's crew. For a reason.)

He lays on the ground, his well-loved jacket tossed aside somewhere close to him. Tommy wonders when he could taste the metallic flavour of blood on the tip of his tongue, when he began having to clean it from underneath his nails and when his jacket became familiar with being soaked with the fluid.
Standing over him is the boy he had admired so much, his own eyes wild and his hands dripping the same shade that stained Tommy's shirt -- Tommy could smell the fresh scent of cut grass, the coppery tang of blood and more importantly, how much Wilbur reeked of power.

Tommy never really had anyone experienced in magic to teach him. Elementary and middle schools don't teach magic either, especially since the students would be young and incapable of controlling their powers.
The only way Tommy practised his control with Air was by himself. No one in the neighbourhood shares the same ability, and even if they did, Tommy knows they wouldn't dare enter the house. The reason why…
At that moment, Clara's calm expression falls into uncertainty. "They uh… they also talk about your Dark Magic," she explains as she carefully eyes Tommy.
OR
So what if Tommy was born with Dark Magic? He got accepted to the Academy anyways, so he's not complaining.
While he makes both friends and enemies, Tommy learns how to use his powers and basically tries to enjoy his life at the Academy.
But of course, a certain crow-loving immortal man and two other Dark-born boys just had to come waltzing in his life.OR OR
