Summary
It's been two years since the Rodin Six (Taeya HATES that name) have all been in the same place at the same time. Unfortunately the "same place" is a cabin in the mountains and the "same time" is the middle of a blizzard. And it's not even really the six of them, since they've all got plus-ones. But Mark and Jackie are stuck at the bottom of the mountain and Hope and Ramon didn't even bring anyone (well, kind of). Mina, still getting over a break up, brought her childhood friend Eugene, but he quickly becomes her fake boyfriend when Taeya's new beau John turns out to be Mina's ex. No one's going anywhere, so Jimmy might as well make dinner. Amber just wants a nap.

This is a really difficult topic. I liked the characterization of the both the boys and the way they relate to each other -- it feels really real and human. I also really enjoyed the story structure in terms of the POV shifts and progression. Definitely worth a read when in the right frame of mind.

This fic is...unsettling. It's beautifully written and the perspective is so INTERESTING but it's also soooo uncomfortable. Which is the point. And it's done masterfully. I walked away feeling very conflicted about the whole thing in the best way.
