Summary
“Can I have sex?” Shane asked. This seemed both the most easy and the most difficult question. He was in bed. That part was easy. But Ilya was setting the boundaries of what reality was today. And realistically, especially based on the fears Shane had shared with Ilya all those weeks ago, Shane wasn’t sure if the answer would be yes.

Summary
Ilya is rescued from an Alpha sex ring in Russia and brought to Canada. Shane is an Omega hockey player. He’s pretty private about his personal life and secondary gender but his hockey playing speaks for itself. Ilya isn’t adjusting to life in the rescue facility for quite a few reasons. Which leads to him being placed with Shane for his rehabilitation.
This is my first time writing A/B/O! I’m writing a bit of an AU version where Alphas face more discrimination than Omegas which I know isn’t how it usually goes. Omegas still face some but in general they are respected and have equal rights. They are thought of as compassionate people that bring life into the world whereas Alphas are thought of as dangerous and even feral by some people. I'll get into it. Let's have a little fun :)
This work will have some very dark themes! Please read the tags!

Summary
Maybe Ilya was right. He really is too afraid.
Shane feels a tear streak down his face, and he lifts his numb fingers, pressing his cold fingers to his equally cold cheek, and then smiles to himself. He can’t stop the laugh from leaving his mouth, even though it makes his lungs hurt, even though it makes his chest feel like it’s about to cave in.
His entire life has been spent on the ice. His entire life has been cold, and so maybe it’s fitting that he dies in the cold, too. To let his body be reclaimed by the elements, and then the world is left wondering just where Shane Hollander disappeared to.
At least the sun is somewhat warm as it basks on his face, and Shane manages one little smile, thinking about the sunlight that would stream into the cottage, and illuminate his boyfriend’s face.
It’s the last thing he thinks about before he succumbs to unconsciousness.
Or: The Boxing Day fight goes horribly wrong, leaving Shane and Ilya to reevaluate their lives, relationship, and careers. A story of loss, bargaining, and reconciliation.

Summary
“What should I call you?” He asks his new alpha.
“Uh, you can call me Shane. You’re Ilya Rozanov, right?” The man says.
So he is being renamed. Ilya is a nice enough name, and he wasn’t particularly attached to the name his last alpha gave him anyway.
"Okay! I can be Ilya Rozanov."
Or: Ilya is on his way to meet his new alpha owner. Shane is waiting for his university roommate to show up. Some flaky paint means that Ilya knocks on the wrong apartment. A dark comedy of errors unfolds, in which Ilya thinks he is doing what he was purchased for, while Shane just thinks he has the best roommate ever.- Language:

Summary
Ilya Rozanov goes first overall in the draft to Boston. Shane Hollander goes three rounds later, to the same team, which nobody saw coming, least of all Shane.
The only person in the building who isn't surprised is the guy who's been thinking about Shane Hollander since January.
OR: the one where Shane goes to Boston instead of Montreal, he's deaf, there's no rivalry, and Ilya Rozanov falls first and falls hardest.
