Summary
Nowadays, it seems as though Angel Dust is improving in every way. As all the heavy weight of his pain and trauma from Valentino's continuing abuse becomes easier to process and communicate to those he cares so deeply about, his heart is lighter, skipping with every beat instead of being forced to carry on contracting in his chest.
Everything is still undoubtedly difficult, but at least he feels like he's got his shit together.
However, on one fateful night after a better than usual filming session with Valentino, Angel Dust sees something that he will never forget but something that the victim of this heinous act will never remember, and he puts a stop to it before it can get even worse.
The baby is now safe from someone who should never have had the right to be her father, and yet Angel Dust is shaken up as he takes her back to the hotel, worried that this safety will not last forever and she'll become as fucked up as he is.
A whirlwind of emotions accompanies the two of them whilst he cradles her to his chest protectively, and it follows him inside the hotel, trying to break him, threatening to ruin his progress.
But he can't let that happen.
He needs a bartender to talk to...

Summary
Dreams are funny things.
They're encouraged to be pondered upon, to be expressed, to be utilised as a vessel to get where you want to go.
Parents, or rather the idea of having them, are also fairly strange. Two people who fell in love and decided or just happened to bring you into this world, who people also encourage you to appreciate, to cherish, to aspire to be like.
For the Princess of Hell, all of this was true.
For Charlotte Morningstar, her dreams and parents formed the foundation of her potential romanticism of demons, her hope of the darkest souls having rainbow coloured blood with hearts of gold instead of tar-like black as everyone is forced to believe. They were what caused her to love and look for the brightness in everything, to sing before she could speak, to always walk up to someone with a wave and a smile.
However, as the extermination draws closer and closer, and her father's help is completely out of the question, Charlie slowly starts to realise that everything has been a horrible lie, that her dreams might just be too hard to defend.
Or, what happened on the night before episode five took place and why Charlie was having an "It's Always Sunny" moment.

When Miles signed the lease for this luxury apartment, he never would've guessed he’d be playing house with Phoenix Wright and his recently adopted daughter, although you wouldn’t know it by the size of the place. With over two hundred square meters of floor-to-ceiling windows, a cavernous custom floor plan, fully furnished with posh white décor, a few choice words came to mind: frigid, sterile, overwhelming. Empty.
It turned out for the best, though. Who knew eight year olds could take up so much space?
