Learning how to run a schedule that wasn’t centered around soccer, juggling promotional and casting offers, maybe even trying new cuisine since he wasn’t on a regularly-managed diet anymore. What he hadn’t expected was for Bachira to show up on Day 1 of their retirement with a giant potted fern.
“I think I’ll name him Kunigami,” he says happily, flicking one of the tall spikes for good measure. Isagi rubs at his eyes to make sure that he’s still not dreaming.
