In a tale where the griffin and the snake get overshadowed by the weird combination of the bird and the mammal, Min Yoongi follows Park Jimin around, like a hawk, waiting for his icy fortitude to crumble at his feet. Or, well, like a crow.
Because when the attention gets all on the eagles, the crow fly swift, wise and cruel, getting to the prey.

Yoongi goes on a road trip, head empty as he cruises the road. He doesn't think, doesn't want to, as he tries to heal his broken heart after attending his first love's wedding with someone else. In a diner on the road, there is a server: Jimin. As Yoongi spends a couple of days in the motel and diner, he gets to know Jimin and what life is, in that godforsaken liminal space where time morphs into nothingness, where people only hang on for a handful of smiles. He can't get enough, quite honestly. There it is, then: Texas' sunset never was more beautiful if not filtered between Jimin's strands of hair and his golden skin. And Yoongi almost forgets why he even left his hometown.
Almost.

Non ci vuole un genio a capire perché l'intera scuola sbavi dietro Min Yoongi, a questo arriva anche Jimin. Sarà lo stile da fuckboy, il fatto che abbia quei piercings agganciati alla pelle, i capelli sbarazzini e un po' lunghi, o il fatto che suoni la chitarra elettrica e sia dannatamente attraente quando lo fa. Questo non attenua, però, l'odio che Jimin prova per lui, soprattutto quando fa il sarcastico e il saccente, come si divertisse a prenderlo in giro con le sue frasi d'abbordaggio scadenti. E Jimin non ne è attratto. No. Assolutamente.
