Summary
Have you ever watched or read something where the hero was saved *just* in time and you kind of wanted to see what happened if they weren't? This is a story about questions, the primary one being "What if?". Read to chapter one and the day is saved- read past that to chapter two and it most certainly isn't.
The Plot: Robin has been captured. Batman goes to save him and they get in over their heads. A sinister cult wants to use them for a ritual to bring a terrible evil into the world. Luckily, help arrives just in time. Unless it doesn't. In which case, Dick (and Bruce and the rest of Gotham) will suffer unimaginably.
