Summary
"Are you going to eat that?" Jason asks, and doesn't miss the half-second too long before Tim says, "Already did."
Or: Tim Drake has spent five years perfecting the art of being fed just enough that nobody asks questions. Jason Todd has been hungry in ways that leave marks, and he's the first person who knows exactly what he's looking at.
When a case against a charity embezzler puts Tim in the middle of a gala on his own birthday, the same night he's spent every year since he was nine secretly baking himself a cake at midnight, one bad night finally becomes impossible to hide.

Summary
Jason tries for a laugh as he glances over at Robin, but it comes out sharp and a little choked. “You got another Robin, B? Don’tcha already have me? Why do you need another one?” Glancing down at himself, he adds, “And… Uh, why do I look like this? Did I fall into mutating acid or… or get bitten by a radioactive bat or somethin’?”
When he looks up, Bruce suddenly looks real pale; there’s white creeping up along his cheeks, rising up the sides of his face.
“Shoot,” Jason says nervously. “I— I was just jokin’ about the bats, really. Don’t tell me that’s really what— what happened. Or was it the magic or whatever, is that what made me look like this?”
--
Jason gets mentally de-aged, and that ends up being the least of his issues.

Summary
Jason’s mind was reeling. “Someone can see us?”
He’d tried everything he could think of to get Bruce and Alfred’s attention since he became a ghost. But even physically floating through their bodies hadn’t elicited a response.
She laughed. “Crazy, ain’t it? I don’t know if he’s a meta or what, but all the ghosts are talking about him.”
If there was someone out there who could see ghosts… then maybe…
Jason had to find him. “Who is he?”
“He’s known by many names… Veil Walker… Reaper… Half-Pint.”
Jason sputtered. “Half-Pint??”
“That’s the wildest shit. It’s a kid. Like a middle schooler.” Delilah threw out one of her hands. “And he’s out here wandering Gotham every night and chatting up the dead.”
Jason could only stare at her. Processing. A kid who could see ghosts... What was this? The Sixth Sense: Gotham edition??
———
Jason was murdered by the Joker. Tim can see the dead. They find each other.

Summary
“I’ve always wanted a brother,” Timothy said, aiming his smile at Jason.
“Foster brother,” Mrs. Drake corrected.
She pursed her lips, as if it hadn’t been her who picked him up from his street corner and took him to a hotel where he could audition for a permanent position as her husband’s sex pet. He was pretty sure the normal response to figuring out your husband liked to fuck kids was not to go out and get him his own bespoke underage whore, but what did Jason know about how the upper crust worked?

Summary
Losing Damian not only hurt beyond measure but also made Dick the last Bat standing. He had nothing keeping him in a broken world so goes back in time with only one ally (Damian begs to differ) and no plan except to protect everyone he can, at any cost.
Dick starts with making sure Jason never dies at the hands of the Joker and proceeds to track down and love his siblings (while maybe also plotting the destruction of the League of Assassins). He just doesn't realize that a clan of highly trained vigilantes are more than capable of realizing that Dick is not okay, and of returning his devotion with their own.

Summary
“The Red Hood has been good for Gotham,” Robin continued. “Crime in Park Row decreased by sixty one percent almost as soon as you showed up, and that’s even taking into account all the crime you commit. Drug overdoses have decreased by twenty two percent in adults and seventy nine percent in minors. Homeless minors are ninety two percent less likely to—”
“Kid,” Jason interrupted. “Enough statistics. What the hell is this about?”
Robin slowly lowered the tablet with his powerpoint presentation and looked up at Red Hood.
“You care about Gotham,” Robin summarised. “Gotham needs Batman. Batman is missing and so is Nightwing. We need you to fill in for Batman.”
“You want me to cover Batman’s patrols?” Jason clarified.
“No,” Robin said. “I want you to be Batman.”
Jason bluescreened.
(Or: Batman and Nightwing mysteriously disappear before Red Hood has even started antagonising them, Robin is desperate, Gotham needs Batman, and Red Hood is Batman-Shaped.)

Jason has a cold.
Jason falls into a trap with no way out.
It turns out that Jason's cold is not just a cold.----
“But is that really what you are, a devil?” Zsasz mused. He cocked his head and raked his wild eyes over Jason. “I have heard things, you know. About you. People say things. Vengeful spirit, guardian angel, revenant, shade, wraith, demon. Monikers people whisper as they watch the gunsmoke fade in your wake.”“Zombie’s my personal favorite,” Jason quipped. “Got any more? Casper? Beetlejuice was undead, ya know. Say my name three times, let’s see what happens.”
