Sonic is dead, but something took his place.
His body has been claimed and reshaped by a demonic force, twisting the hero’s corpse into a creature born of bloodlust and corruption. Based on a now deleted Roblox game, Sonic.EXE: The Disaster. Since there was barely any lore in the game, most of the things here and just my headcanons. Summary
It’s confusing to watch when Sonic tries to talk to Tails and a strange growl exits the young fox. Siblings fight from time to time, and the brothers are no different, but nobody has seen Tails this angry for this long, not with Sonic. Tails has a reason for his anger, though. His hostility. The reason is simple, one he knows well: that’s not Sonic.

A sonic.exe-ish au, but not really, exploring the horror not in a meta-way, but rather in an in-universe way! Or, in other words, see this as an AU where something has taken over Sonic's body!
