There’s a spot below his right socket, barely perceptible to the naked eye. It is a slight indent in the skin, the only visible mark of the intrusion when Dazai shattered his face and Mori pushed his brains back in. Fyodor kisses it when Dazai is sat on his couch. Leads him by the hand, nail bitten fingertips cupping his jaw, scratchy scabs against the soft skin of his white belly throat. He’d lost himself somewhere between crawling into the leather innards of the car and parking, blinked and he was inside.

Forty-eight hours ago she had been laying in a dilapidated one room apartment, staring at the mold on her ceiling and listening to her brother's shuddering breaths in his sleep. She had rolled over, staring at the horigotatsu that served as their only furniture and had a partially splintered leg. And now here she was, staring off into space as some grade schooler came up to the scientist and tugged on his coat.

Summary
Dazai speaks in low whispers in times like this, and later when Chuuya wraps a hand around his rickety wrists his volume will raise- if not minutely. There’s some sort of satisfaction that arises at provoking him into a reaction- perhaps sadistic, but the fog filling his head does not allow for such thought.

“Have you been lying in wait to ask me that all day?” Lan Zhan interrupts to ask. “Also: no. Do not dig Yanli a pond.”
“Why not?” Jin Zixuan says. “Don’t you think it’s a good idea? Yanli’s always saying how much she misses the lake near her parents’ house—it would be a little piece of home!”
Lan Zhan thinks of Wei Ying. He wonders if Wei Ying misses the lake too. Whether he might like a pond.

Summary
Nie Huaisang tramps up the stairs, a waft of that disgusting perfume that always gives Jiang Cheng a headache floating behind her. Dumbfounded, Wei Wuxian hands her the glass — still mostly full — and Nie Huaisang downs it in one.
"Hey," the driver calls. "Your bags?"
"Oh, Jiang Cheng will get them, won't you, A-Cheng?" Nie Huaisang asks. She's gotten her nails done recently. Fresh falsies. They are... intimidatingly long. When Nie Huaisang pats Jiang Cheng's arm, he shivers.
Despite Wei Wuxian's protests that the person she's seeing could be "anyone," Jiang Cheng is pretty sure it's Lan Wangji. Nie Huaisang moves in to watch the saga unfold.
