Sometimes, he spills your guts, takes your intestines, your heart, and harbors it within the suit of his chest. He’d shown you, made sure you were alive enough to witness it. Then he took your lungs–-your abdomen, and completed the missing parts of his body that had once belonged to you.
He took that advantage, consumed you at your most vulnerable. Stripped you naked, chased you endlessly throughout the forest, the decimated borgo, the saloon—anywhere, everywhere, he would always have you.
(but at the time, you had wanted it).
So when you run, do your job as you’re supposed to do–-you see the way his eyes shift, from heavy lidded—to surprise. He doesn’t like it. You can tell from the jump. He’s brutal this time, to end the game, to find you, to punish you for playing your part. You knew it was for your body, you knew you were the lamb—but today, there is no sacrifice.
You find that you don't really want that anymore.

This is the Wild West, he, the outlaw, Capitano, the bounty hunter. Childe spits out a joint, lights himself another, pan over: Capitano cocks his gun. Finger on the trigger. Childe feels the sweat, can smell the heat—and it gets to his head. He feels the crosshair on his breast bone, scarily close to his heart. And swallows down the saliva.
Under the blazing sun, Capitano is as regal as ever, handsome–dangerously so. And Jesus, to the Tsaritsa (hail her majesty)–to God, to Celestia, Childe’s will crumbles to ash.
The film ends (you already know who loses the duel).
His heart stutters a little, his lips part as if to will himself to say something, anything.

She basically just pushed into their waiting hands the Kamera. . .and a photo.
“You’re the captain, though?” He asked, inspecting the Kamera that was suddenly in his hands.
“Yeah, I am, but a captain also has a captain,” Beidou said, “so suck it. Captain’s captain’s orders.”
Inside the Sanctuary of Surasthana, there are currently four photos taped haphazardly on its walls. Nahida was threatened to not touch them, but she does so anyway, just to tape them back again when she saw them slowly peel away from the wall.
