Time is dwindling down, just like Ford's sanity. Bill had given him a time limit: 72 hours. In that short amount of time, he's managed to send off a postcard to Stanley, hoping that, for once in his twin's life, he'll actually make it on time. The hours wind until he's only got 24 left. Panic begins to set in. He can't contact Fiddleford again, that ship has long since sailed. With no sign of Stanley, with no definitive way to get rid of Bill, he arms himself with a crossbow. He'll be damned if he lets anyone sneak in and steal his eyes. He'll be damned if he'll let Bill get to him. All he has to do now is wait. And wait he does, until he hears a suspicious knock on the door...
Canon divergent fic where, in his fear of Bill and Bill's threat of sending someone to steal his eyes, Ford accidentally shoots Stan with his crossbow.
