The story takes place five years after the original events of ATLA.
What would happen if Aang breaks out of the iceberg five years later? How would the world look, and more importantly how would the characters change?
21 year old Zuko has been out at sea for the last six years, since his banishment. One day he sees a clear blue light near the South Pole. Naturally he investigates, not in the hopes of regaining his honour. That is something that he lost hope of long ago, instead he does it for the sake of his crew of misfits. Little does he know that the strange blue light is about to rock his fucking world upside down.

“Max, c’mon!” Lando shouted, running ahead into the clearing.
“Lando, be careful!” Max yelled back, shouldering his bag and picking up the pace. Charles laughed from where he was standing next to Max, eyes trained on the map in his hands. “What’s so funny?” Max asked, face set in a frown and eyes tracking Lando’s every move.
“Oh, nothing.” When Max gave Charles an annoyed glare he caved. “It’s just that you get so protective when we're out here. Not that you aren’t usually protective. But out here you turn into ‘Mad Max’, always grumbling and frowning.”
Max scoffed, “I do not,”
“You so do,” Charles replied, his voice taking on a sing-songy tone.
“Whatever, let’s just– LANDO!” Max yelled abruptly. Sprinting towards Lando without a second glance towards Charles. Charles quickly followed, not wanting to be left behind and risk running into the Walkers.

"Do you know him?" Sebastian asked.
"No, I've never met him before. It's just...seeing him and his pup, it's heartbreaking. He must have been so scared and alone. I can't even imagine," Max admitted. "He looks around my age, Seb. He shouldn't have had to go through that."
Sebastian nodded in agreement. "You're right, no one should ever have to go through what this boy has gone through but that's why we do this. We can't change the past, but we can help make the future better. And that's what we will do."
Max nodded, his eyes still fixed on the clinic.
"Go home, Max. Take a break. You have done enough for now. Let me handle it," Sebastian assured him.
Max reluctantly nodded. "Okay, call me if anything happens,"
"Of course. Rest well,"
Max drove home, his thoughts swirling. He wasn't sure why, but he felt connected to the Omega. Maybe it was the fact that they were the same age, or maybe it was his concern for the baby, but he couldn't shake the feeling that he needed to help him.

There's no patten, except that he always ends up four years prior down to the last minute. He never knows when he is about to break the laws of the universe against his own will and go zooming through the fabric of Time itself. He would move, if not for the charming stranger that he always finds inside when it happens.
Four years ago, the stranger was in love with him.
Now, the stranger is leading the World Driver's Championship of Formula One by 5 points. He hasn't, in four long years, seen the face of the man who used to fall asleep holding him.
Or: Oscar has spent four years searching for the man that changed his world. Which Lando did, only a few weeks ago, in his aunt's magical apartment.
