Summary
Dealing with the loss of their firstborn, Satoru also has to deal with slowly losing his omega.
It's clumsy and parched, merely a press of lips, but it's their first spontaneous kiss in weeks. Satoru channels all his frustration and yearning into the firm press of their mouths. Breathing out sharply, he yearns for a breath laced with his omega's fragrance. Once his lungs brim with warmth and affection, he slowly pulls away.
Satoru opens his eyes to a blurry vision, yet he can still discern the tears, like morning dew, clinging to Suguru's long eyelashes. They trail down his cheeks as he looks up at Satoru.
"I love you," Satoru's voice cracks midway, "I love you."
But Suguru isn't ready to accept the words; that's why he diverts his gaze, shunning the emotion as if he's unworthy of it. Satoru doesn't compel him to look back, but he persists in repeating the words until they blur into a murmur until they shed their meaning, and until Suguru hears nothing else.

“And you’re two minutes late,” Suguru greets him once Satoru finally makes it to the principal’s office.
“Why, I love you too.” Satoru coos and gives his best friend a lop-sided grin. Then he notices the timer on Suguru’s phone, still ticking up with each passing second. “Did you seriously time me? How petty do you want to be?”
“Very,” Suguru says without hesitation. “I’m sick of getting scolded because you are always late.”
“Is he here already?” Satoru asks.
“On the dot.” Suguru confirms. “I timed him, too.”
“Lovely. How long until one of us kills the other?”
“Shoko says four days, I’ve been so generous and given you an entire week to knock each other’s skulls in.”
Satoru glares at him. “You all have such faith in me.”
Or: Sukuna joins Jujutsu High as a teacher. Not everyone is happy about it.

A pointed look pierces through the expression, aimed towards Satoru when the implications of a now visibly person-sized tunnel made recognition flitter along his features.
“Are you fucking serious?” are the words that break past parted lips, the ridicule in his head slipping out verbally. The heat fogged his brain and hindered his filter. Satoru doesn't seem to mind, not with the way his eyes crinkle at the ends with amusement when he cranes his neck back to peer up toward the boy scowling down at him.
“What? Claustrophobic?”
Suguru scoffs at that.
“What are we? Moles?”
Satoru’s legs part from where he's crouched, the backs of his heels pressing together to stabilize himself. Elbows rest lazily on thighs, knees pointed out in opposite directions. The stance was comparable to a delinquent frog.
“Even better, we’re weasels.” He hums back like it was some incredibly witty thing to say, that trademark, waggish smirk easing up the corners of his lips.
