Torn between the town she loves and a man that lingers behind his mask… Ruby must decide whose side she’s on, all while dealing with a past that still haunts her to this day.
Notes: This was originally a one-shot that turned into a multi-chapter fic. It starts with an alternative version of The Kidnapping quest. It follows the main game but takes a lot of twists and turns! NSFW chapters are marked accordingly as well!

Summary
She arrives in Sandrock with a background in recovered media, a lifetime of cultural references that no longer apply, and the unsettling disadvantage of knowing exactly where she is and what is supposed to happen next.
She is not the Builder so she can't possibly be the hero, at least not in any way the story recognizes.
Instead, she survives by noticing patterns, asking the wrong questions, and slowly realizing that foreknowledge is not the same thing as control.
The problem is that Sandrock notices her back.

This will be a classic retelling of the in-game story, but with a focus on the moments that might have occurred between Logan and Lucy during and in-between events.
