hermione has left hogwarts and has set up a tent in the forest of Dean. she's found the prewett twins, Gideon is a werewolf. James was struck by lightning and has the same scar that hermione was drawing on a windowpane, which was Harry's (how and why?) hermione and lupin have a strange connection that hurt them both after an argument some time ago. euphemia potter is passed at dumbledore for his handling of basically everything.
lots of wormtail fluff, some reg moments. lupin hates her guts (he can't help it)
