Workaday clerical drone Aziraphale Fell unexpectedly comes into a cottage in the South Downs. But life is as drab as ever, and worse, a disastrous decision has left him with mint running rampant through all the beautiful plantings. It's clearly time someone got him- er, his garden - under control.
A quickie of cheerful, unredeemed filth, which... grew chapters and a plot. I only work here.
“I must say I’ve never encountered anyone using a – a system like yours,” he said, facing away as if the view outside the window were entirely arresting. “I mean – it was very exciting er interesting the way you were, ah, instructing those plants as if they could – does it really get the results you want?”
“Oh, gets results all right,” Crowley said. “Wouldn’t believe size things can grow to, talk to ‘em right.”
This, Aziraphale considered, was accurate. The state of things inside his trousers had become genuinely alarming.

Summary
A single night changes the course of their friendship. Six years of friendship, set to teeter on a thin wire because they'd lost themselves for a moment.

Some thought they'd been together for years, having told no one, but others knew they were simply fools in love too blind to see it. When they return from holiday break, teachers and students scramble to understand why neither is speaking to the other.
But heartbreak and misunderstandings are hurdles difficult to overcome, and Aziraphale and Crowley are too stubborn and too afraid to admit their feelings. How long can they last before they miss each other and decide to risk it all, again?

Summary
When Crowley had snaked himself across the bar top, half purring, half snarling for Aziraphale to live a little, this wasn’t exactly what he meant by it. Not exclusively, anyway. If there was a list of possibilities, it may have been on there somewhere; scrawled as a hasty afterthought, perhaps under a subheading of Things That Would Surely Never Actually Happen.
But the sight of Aziraphale lying naked and debauched in the middle of his black satin sheets was not something he was about to hesitate over.
(If there was a second list, one surreptitiously scribbled on a napkin in the dark corner of a crowded bar, it would be titled Things Crowley Had No Right To Crave As Much As He Did, and it would start and end with this single bullet point)

Summary
Nearly simultaneously, two thoughts had immediately crossed Aziraphale’s mind the moment their lips had touched.
First: This is mad. This is impossible. Or: this is only possible because Crowley believes that loathsome demon Ferngully (?) to have the photograph. A task he’d very nearly succeeded at, if not for Aziraphale. A task that Aziraphale had been excited to reveal, and now, in a tragic turn of events, it’s the very thing he needs to keep hidden if he wants to continue kissing Crowley.
Which leads him to his second realization: Crowley cannot, under any circumstances, discover the photograph.

“No, really, I’m flattered, but I don’t -“ Aziraphale was starting to get desperate. Some excuse. Anything to shake this human off. His heart was beating fast, his hands began to tremble.
“I think you do,” leered Josh. “Look at you. Don’t resist, Zira. Resist it, and your soul grows sick with longing for the things it has forbidden to itself.”
“Joshua, I am not interested, you insufferable man…” Aziraphale trailed off as he looked around, frantic now. He looked to the bar, where a man – or something man-shaped in tight black pants - was pocketing his wallet and grabbing the bottle of scotch from the counter. Aziraphale swallowed, watching as Crowley began to make his way back over to the table.
“I have a boyfriend,” blurted Aziraphale.----
Aziraphale and Crowley go drinking at pub trivia when a man from another team takes an interest in Aziraphale. Crowley is not impressed. Shenanigans ensue.

“Is that what you’ve been following me around for? To ask where the Supreme Archangel of Heaven is?”
Muriel rings their hands and looks apologetic when they nod. “Yes, well.”
“His location is in the title,” Crowley says slowly.
“Sure, of course. But—you see. Mr. Fell.”
“Aziraphale,” Crowley corrects them. “He’s not actually a bookshop owner.”
“Right,” Muriel says with a nervous flash of teeth. “See—but—he’s not actually Supreme Archangel of Heaven either.”
Crowley blinks. It’s the only indication that he takes the words as a slap to the face. He won’t let them see the sting in his eyes. “Since when?” he asks very casually—not because he wants to know. It’s purely small talk. He’s not interested in why Aziraphale would resign the position he left Crowley for or where he’s been since.

Aziraphale's gone missing. Heaven wants to find him. Crowley plans to find him first.

Grand Duke Aziraphale, second in line to the throne of the Kingdom of Mayfair, and up-and-coming cutting-edge fashion designer Crowley find themselves neighbours after Aziraphale decides to open library branches in their kingdom. As their friendship grows, so does opposition to Aziraphale's libraries. The kingdom's guilds are far too used to having control of any knowledge pertaining to their trades, and they're not happy about how access to books can quickly and easily disseminate information to the masses. It's not long before the two friends find themselves in the centre of a fight not only for the library's survival, but Crowley's career as well. Meanwhile, their friendship heats up, which could spell a different kind of problem for them. Tradition states that nobility does not get romantically involved with commoners. Someone criticises Crowley in Heaven and Aziraphale has had just enough of that to be honest so he decides that maybe - maaaaaaaaybe - it would be better for everyone for him just to return to Earth and to his demon.
