Summary
“Why the fuck are you here,” Blackbeard growls, bored and dangerous, slanting a glare at Stede.
Stede’s face does a funny little wobble, but he takes a breath and rights himself. “Well. I came to apologize, for leaving you. Not showing up, that night. I should never…” he trails off, clears his throat. “It was badly done of me. It didn’t take me long to figure out what an idiot I’d been, but…it also took me far too long.”
He pauses, takes a step towards (Edward) Blackbeard. “I love you, and I should never have left.”
Edward (Blackbeard) reels.
A gut wound would have been kinder. He is buffeted by a maelstrom of emotions: hurt and anger and hope and more that he can’t name. He digs his fingers hard into the empty shelf in front of him, stripped of its books and knickknacks and frippery because Stede was gone and Edward hadn’t been able to hold it together for one more minute on a ship so full of his presence.

Summary
A Pirate Radio AU - Stede Bonnet buys a Pirate Radio ship in 1967.
Everyone on the crew has their own little musical niches. Buttons and his naked psychedelia sessions, Lucius and his unbelievably explicit 50s blues, Jim and Oluwande and their propensity for finding incredibly illegal bootlegs... but nobody seems to be interested in anything Stede has to play. That is, of course, until they enlist the help of Rock DJ royalty: The legendary Blackbeard and his irate producer, Izzy.
Shenanigans, of course, ensue.

Summary
Stede finds the house. When he comes back to their room at the inn, he won’t rest—won’t let Ed rest—until Ed’s seen it. His eyes are bright in that way that makes Ed’s guts feel scooped out with a spoon. So Ed hurries into his boots and goes with him.
The once-white paint is stripped by weather and wear, a portion of the roof is caved in, and the spokes of the wraparound porch are all gnawed through by animals.
Ed gazes up at the broken windows and the birds that have built nests there. At his side, Stede is waiting, rocking back and forth on his heels.
"It’s perfect," says Ed.
