Is the sun closer to red or yellow?
Deidara can't really tell at this point, not after spending however long he was sitting on the balcony of the presidential suite. The sun was setting over the horizon, turning the blue of the skies above into a clear expanse of pure orange and igniting the seas in which it was submerging on fire. Black dots begin dancing in his view, distracting him, but he doesn't have time for such minor issues, the time was running out. He doesn't care if they will spend several weeks on this cruise, he just knows it won't be the same as his first time opening the balcony door and being blasted with everything about this scene, he must capture it before the moment is gone forever and he is left with nothing but his own pale memories.Or, Deidara and Obito setting off for a vacation on a cruise ship. Both of them are excited for things to come.

Obito stuck out his puffed up lips. He did not like learning about anyone probing something of his partner's, much less that wannabe Leader of his organization. He muttered in annoyance, "I didn't hear anything about any meeting. Are you sure you didn't just have a nightmare? I can cheer you up after the horrors of seeing work even in your dreams..."
"He's calling me right now, you dumbass, hm" Deidara took the same tone he used to have when explaining nukenin basics 101 to Tobi. "And it's a report meeting for the team leaders, of course no one was going to invite you."Or, Uchiha Obito, also known as Tobi the Newbie, also known as Akatsuki's Real Secret Leader, also known as the Ghost of Uchiha, and the Terror of Kirigakure, Konohagakure and so on and so forth, is spiritually world's most unemployed bum who is forced to go through the hell that is running an organization that he started. But how could he be expected to focus on the job when his workaholic senpai is naked right by his side?

Summary
Deidara spun back toward him, eyes blazing with accusation. “Danger from what? From you?” he demanded, voice sharp enough to slice through the thick air between them. The words came out harder than he intended, laced with equal parts anger and something quieter—uncertainty, maybe, or the creeping edge of instinct that neither of them wanted to acknowledge.
When Obito finally spoke, his voice had lost its usual distance. It came out low, almost reluctant, as if the words scraped their way up from a place he rarely let see daylight. “The danger,” he said, “is what might happen if I stop holding back.”
It wasn’t a threat. It wasn’t a boast. It was an admission, quiet and raw, pulled directly from the place where instinct and control tangled like wire.
When Deidara’s heat starts early and Obito’s carefully restrained instincts threaten to break them both.

Having the Archivist at his mercy's far too much of a boon to simply waste on a rib, even if he'd get to keep one of the Archivist's ribs and get free. He'd get free regardless. This way, he can have some fun, and give Jon something proper to remember him by. Something obvious and unable to be ignored.
