    He didn’t want to die. There’s still so much he wanted to do. There was still so many things he wanted to say and experience and feel. But there was no other way he would rather go, there was no one he’d rather spend his last moments with.

     

    Ten, nine, eight…

     

    Dick leans forward, can’t stop himself, and places a hand on Wally’s cheek. Wally shudders, more attacks are sent their way, and then the speedster leans forward. There is so much he wants to say, so much he wants to experience, so much he wants to do. But he only has so much time left, so Dick presses their lips together, presses as close as he dares, holds as tight as he can, savors all that he can get.

    He wants to linger. He wants to press his forehead against Wally’s and just stare into his eyes, wants to hold his hand and see him smile, wants to trace his freckles with his fingertips. He wants and he wants and he wants, but he cannot have.

    Or: Dick kisses Wally, knowing they wouldn't survive this mission. He doesn’t expect to wake up to find everything perfectly fine, nor does he expect anything to become of the kiss. He was wrong, even if it takes some time.

    Lance wasn’t sure where he ended and the stars began. Maybe he was the stars, maybe he’d always just been the pain and the stars and the voices.

    “-OUT OF THE POD!”

     

    When a cryopod malfunctions, Lance is left with amnesia. As he struggles to figure out where he fits in the new formation of the team, the rest of Voltron is racing against the clock to figure out where Lotor will strike next- and their only clue is hidden somewhere in Lance's lost memories. Lance will have to find a way to remember what he's missing- or come to terms with what he's forgotten.
