“Kacchan,” Izuku starts warily, “why is there a clone of me in the common room?” From the way Kacchan is breathing so heavily, shoulders hiked up to the ears, Izuku can only assume that there’s something really bad happening right now.
“You need to leave,” Kacchan says.
When Katsuki gets hit by a Quirk that manifests his deepest romantic fantasy into physical form, a lookalike Izuku Midoriya springs into existence and doesn't leave Katsuki's side.
Izuku, the poor guy, has no idea what's going on.
Honestly, is it a real Valentine's Day if a good old fashioned Love Quirk accident isn't involved?

But if this is an Irritation Quirk — whatever that means — then that means that everything Fake Izuku is doing right now is a manifestation of what annoys Kacchan the most. And considering the fact that Izuku has been in love with Kacchan since maybe forever, he thinks he understands what’s going on. Kacchan found out about his secret, and the very thought of Izuku making any kind of romantic advance on him must really piss him off.
No wonder he didn’t want Izuku to see this.
“I’ll get out of your hair then, Kacchan,” Izuku says, and he recognises with a grimace how flat and strained his own voice comes out. In a vain attempt to salvage himself in front of everybody, he adds, “Do you want me to find the girl and figure out how to remove the Quirk as quickly as possible? I can probably figure out a way to do it.”
Kacchan stares at him, his expression so incredibly difficult to read. After a prolonged and uncomfortable, silence, he stands up. “Don’t bother,” he says curtly, making a half-hearted attempt at keeping the Fake at an arm's length as he stomps away and up the stairs.
An arm’s length away. A safe distance away. I just want to spar with you, the Fake had said. Why are you pushing me away? Why are you pushing me away? Why are you—
Izuku wants to throw up.

Summary
Katsuki brushes aside Izuku’s hands and tries not to worry over how they tremor even now at rest. Instead, he attempts to focus on the task at hand (which is difficult enough as it is with the way his knuckles brush Izuku’s bare stomach ever so lightly as he works his way up the shirt), hesitating when he gets to the few before the top.
“You want it buttoned all the way?” Katsuki asks.
Izuku nods. “Yeah, same as always.”
“It looks better with the top ones unbuttoned,” Katsuki challenges.
“I’m not a delinquent, Kacchan,” Izuku counters.
Katsuki squares him with a deadpan stare, a raised eyebrow.
Or: Katsuki knows there's something wrong with Izuku's hands, it's obvious. He just wishes Izuku would trust him enough to tell him. After lots of observation and a mishap with some ice, Izuku is finally forced to accept help.

A red haze of pain covers his vision, and he brings down the axe on instinct now. A wounded animal striking out, aiming blindly for what hurt him—for the arm still holding the knife.
Blood splatters up onto his face. Wet and warm.
New teacher Izuku, grading papers alone in the school during the still-dark hours of the morning, finds himself the target of a mysterious and violent coordinated attack.

“A few years ago,” Izuku, his boy, chokes out. “A few years ago my dad was hurt really badly by a villain. He has always been a big part of my life. Unshakeable, really. A lot like you, All Might. He’s strong. But seeing him on the hospital bed with tubes and stuff hanging out of his stomach, it was scary.”
Izuku breaths out. “I thought to myself, ‘This is a person whose life is very important to me. Why would a villain do this to this man?’ and realized that that is what everyone thought about every single victim of any attack or disaster, ever. ‘This person is dear to me, how could someone do this?’ so,”
He looks up, those bright eyes shining under his wildly trimmed bangs that Toshinori trimmed just that morning in the sink before he went to school. “So I want to make a world where there are no villains and no more deaths, so nobody has to see their parents lay dying, unable to do anything. My dad is fine now, but when I see him struggle to eat, I curse the villain that injured him so horribly.”
“But I am quirkless.” His son says. “My dad is too. So I was wondering,”
Here it comes.
“Can I be a hero, too?”
