The Maomao that read it had clumsy hands and chipped teeth, yard-tanned skin and endless questions. She hadn't the faintest clue of destiny's cruel design, and it would be cruel. There would be hate and horror and humorless irony in every turn, but that young Maomao grinned and relaxed down into the sunbaked grass with a crude legends children's book beside her. If her destiny was already set, it didn't matter what she did.

Written in the original canon universe, this fic uses many canon scenes from the series to show that Destiel doesn't need fanfiction to be real. It has always been there, it will always be there, and it is REAL.
