Summary
Since David Rossi and Jason Gideon are such good friends and work together rather well, it would make sense that their protégés would work together well and be friends as well, right? Aaron Hotchner and Spencer Reid would happily tell you that you're wrong and then go on a very long rant as to why the other man is atrocious. As years pass and changes in the unit occur, they adapt to new challenges, stresses, and people. There are three main consistent factors within the BAU: the semi-acceptable coffee kept in the break rooms, that Hotch and Reid have exceptionally high standards for their teams and themselves, and that Hotch and Reid absolutely hate one another.

“What is it, baby?” Daniel kisses the words into his skin; he sounds so young when he calls Armand that. “Whatever it is, I wanna give it to you.”
Armand worries his lower lip between his teeth as Daniel grazes his fangs over his pulse point. He closes his eyes tight.
“I want—ah—to let go of the reins for a while,” he says, feeling emboldened by Daniel’s enthusiasm and a little delirious from Daniel’s relentless torment of his skin with his fangs. “I want to feel small. I want you to—mmm—unleash… and take control… I want… I want you…” He takes a deep, shuddering breath and lowers his voice like it’s a secret. “I want you to dominate me.”

In which Armand asks Daniel to dom him for the first time, Daniel gets a bit weird about it, they miraculously talk about their feelings, and they have the greatest night of their lives.

Summary
Spencer Reid enrolls in an elective in his final year of undergrad, expecting a professor who won't race his time.
Aaron Hotchner begins this semester determined to keep his life carefully partitioned. His career on one side and his feelings on the other.
Over time, both develop feelings for each other.
This was inspired by another fic, that I loved but I really wanted a version where Hotch was nicer because I'm a sucker for soft Hotch.

Armand whines, and pouts, and grabs at him, his fingers clinging to the fabric of Daniel’s shirt. “Where are you going?”
“Wait here, baby,” Daniel says, swooping back down for just a second to kiss him quickly. “I’m gonna put on some music, yeah?”
