Summary

The violent nature of their turnings suggests to Kenma and Akaashi that a non-peaceful vampire may be on the hunt, draining humans for a reason. Kenma decides to make it his mission to figure out who is wreaking havoc as the sparks of his former, human relationship with Kuroo burns a deep flame.

The sound carries through the empty evening, and Hanamaki is thrown down the length of a highway that doesn’t exist, lit by faded orange streetlights. Dissonance strikes, and he’s back in Matsukawa’s arms in early May, bitching about electromagnetism and the end of their youth.
The loop begins again. Seamless.
On the night before Hanamaki leaves their shared life behind, Matsukawa gifts him a song to send him off.

The idea of eating all day as he toured the city was exciting. As he looked over their first stop in the brochure, the oldest café in Rome where they would be getting their jolt of caffeine for the day, either a cappuccino or an espresso, he heard a voice call his name, “’Kaashi-kun? Is that you?”
He looked up, surprised to hear someone speaking Japanese. This tour was supposed to be in English and Italian. He startled when his eyes met those of the man he had been crushing on for quite some time now—the owner of his favorite restaurant chain back in Japan—Miya Osamu.
…or, Osamu and Keiji stumble across each other on their solo vacations and decide to travel through Italy together.

Soon enough, the weekly community garden meetings with Osamu were what Keiji looked forward to. There was something so dependable and constant about Osamu that Keiji couldn’t shake, and he uncovered a little bit more of it in that Shibuya garden plot every week.
Keiji came to love early summer for this reason, and whenever asked his favorite month, he would undoubtedly have an answer: June. And right under his tongue was a single familiar word.

Until Sakusa Kiyoomi, outside hitter for Team Japan, convinces him otherwise.

Shinsuke laughs lightly in amusement. “I can never see Osamu in that way.”
The face in the mirror softens as Shinsuke resumes his combing. After a moment, with a sheepish tone in his voice, Atsumu asks, “What about me?”
The comb stops in midair once again and Shinsuke couldn’t help but stare at the face in the mirror, which was gradually growing red. He opens his mouth to answer, but nothing comes out because he genuinely doesn’t know what to say.
“N-never mind, Kita-san. Sorry. That was weird of me to ask—"
But Shinsuke, no matter how shaken he is, is not one to leave what he started unfinished. “If... I had to choose between you, Osamu, or Suna… I would choose you.”
The shade of red deepens, and Shinsuke suddenly thinks it is all worth it.
